गिरिडीह पुलिस ने एक करोड़ नौ लाख 50 हजार की राशि जब्त की, गया से कोलकाता जा रही महारानी बस से राशि बरामद की गई

गिरिडीह (कमलनयन) :18 वीं लोकसभा के लिए हो रहे आम चुनाव को लेकर देश भर में आदर्श आचार संहिता लागू है। इसके तहत 50 हजार से अधिक की रकम लेकर यात्रा करने पर रोक है। इस बीच गुरुवार की सुबह गिरिडीह पुलिस ने बिहार के गया से कोलकाता जा रही महारानी यात्री बस में सवार तीन यात्रियों के पास से एक करोड़ नौ लाख 50 हजार बरामद किये हैं। इस मामले की पुष्टि करते हुए गिरिडीह के एसपी दीपक कुमार शर्मा ने बताया कि बुधवार की रात गुप्त सूचना मिली कि बिहार के गया से कोलकाता जा रही महारानी बस में एक करोड़ से अधिक राशि रखी गयी है। इस राशि से चुनाव को प्रभावित किया जा सकता है। इस सूचना पर एफएसटी (फ्लाइंग स्कवॉड टीम) को सक्रिय कर वाहन जांच अभियान चलाया गया।

पुलिसिया पूछताछ में तीनों ने खुद को जेवर व्यवसायी बताया 

टीम में बगोदर बीडीओ अजय कुमार वर्मा, सरिया–बगोदर एसडीपीओ धनंजय कुमार राम और बगोदर थाना प्रभारी समेत अन्य पुलिसकर्मी शामिल थे। बताया गया कि बगोदर थाना क्षेत्र के राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग के औरा में बस की जांच की गई। इस दौरान टीम ने तीन व्यक्तियों को पकड़ा, जिनमें से दो व्यक्ति के पास से करीब 67 लाख और एक व्यक्ति के पास करीब 42.5 लाख रुपया यानी कुल 1.09 करोड़ बरामद किये। तीनों व्यक्तियों से बरामद पैसे के संबंध में पूछताछ की जा रही है। एसपी ने कहा कि पैसे कहां से आए और कहां भेजे जा रहे थे। इसमें कौन-कौन लोग शामिल हैं, सभी बिन्दुओं पर जांच चल रही है। आयकर विभाग का भी सहयोग लिया जा रहा है। इधर शुरुआती पूछताछ में तीनों ने खुद को जेवर व्यापारी बताया है। पुलिस पूरे मामले में सच्चाई की जांच करने में जुटी हुई है। मालूम हो कि इससे पहले पिछले तीन दिनों में जिले के अलग-अलग थाना क्षेत्रो में वाहन जांच के क्रम में गिरिडीह पुलिस ने करीब तीस लाख की रकम बरामद की है।
