हजारीबाग के चमेली झरना में डूबने से हुई युवक की मौत; कांग्रेस नेता मुन्ना सिंह ने किया प्रशासन और लोगों से अपील

6 June 2024 को हजारीबाग के इचाक स्थित चमेली झरना में डूबने से एक युवक की मृत्यु हो गई। हजारीबाग के जैन मंदिर के निकट निवासी जफर अब्बास के पुत्र ज़मन अब्बास की चमेली झरना में डूब जाने की खबर से स्थानीय लोगों में अफरा तफरी मच गई। ऐसी दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण घटनाएं यहां पिछले वर्ष भी हुई हैं, जिसमें दो युवक और एक युवती की जान चली गई थी।

7 जून 2024 को कांग्रेस के वरिष्ठ नेता मुन्ना सिंह अपने टीम के साथ घटना स्थल पर पहुंचे, और स्थानीय लोगों से इस घटना के बारे में पूछताछ किया। मुन्ना सिंह ने मृत युवक के पिता से मुलाकात कर उनका हौसला बढ़ाया, और इचाक थाना पहुंच कर थाना प्रभारी से ये दरखास्त किया की एनडीआरएफ की सहायता से युवक के शव को जल्द से जल्द झरने से ढूंढ़ के निकाला जाए।

मुन्ना जी ने स्थानीय प्रशासन से यह अपील किया कि इस झील के आस पास उचित “डेंजर – खतरे” के निशान का साइन बोर्ड लगाया जाए, और खतरे वाले भाग के आस पास किसी तरीके का घेराव किया जाए ताकि लोग उसके आगे न जा सके। स्थानीय लोगों को संबोधित करते हुए मुन्ना जी ने कहा, “मैं हजारीबाग के सभी लोगों से यह अपील करना चाहूंगा कि ऐसे किसी भी स्थानों पर जाते समय उचित सावधानी बनाये रखें। अपने जीवन के मोल को समझें और कोई ऐसा कदम न उठाएं जिससे आपकी जान को खतरा हो।”
मुख्य रूप से बबलू सिंह , दिनेश कुमार यादव, सुजीत सिंह , विक्की कुमार धान इत्यादि लोगों उपस्थित  थें।
