डुमरी के जिला परिषद सदस्य सुनिता कुमारी मंगलवार को ऑफिसर काॅलोनी स्थित पीएचईडी विभाग के दफ्तर में पानी समस्या को लेकर धरना दिया। यहां उन्होंने बताया कि उनके क्षेत्र में पानी की घोर किल्लत है। नल जल योजना शोभा की वस्तु बन कर पडी है। अगर विभागीय स्तर पर कोई कार्रवाई नहीं की गई तो वह कार्यालय में ही डेरा डाल देंगी। इन्होंने यहां तक कहा कि वह विभाग के कार्यालय में ही झाड़ू पोछा करेंगी मगर उनके श्रेत्र की जनता को पानी दिया जाए। इन्होंने आंदोलन की भी चेतावनी दी।
