बरकट्ठा: सिमारिया जंगल के पास मंगलवार की सुबह हुए एक भीषण सड़क दुर्घटना में एक व्यक्ति की मौत हो गई, जबकि उसकी पत्नी गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गई। हादसा तब हुआ जब गैड़ा-पिपचो मार्ग पर एक तेज गति से आ रही क्रेटा (जेएच02बीक्यू-4774) ने उनकी बाइक (जेएच10बीजी-8146) को टक्कर मार दी।
इस हादसे में बाइक चालक, ग्राम पिपचो जयनगर निवासी 55 वर्षीय कन्हाई राणा, पिता लालो राणा, की मौके पर ही मौत हो गई। उनकी पत्नी, 51 वर्षीय सोमा देवी, इस दुर्घटना में गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गईं। दुर्घटना के बाद स्थानीय ग्रामीणों ने तत्परता दिखाते हुए सोमा देवी को सामुदायिक स्वास्थ्य केंद्र बरकट्ठा पहुंचाया।
कन्हाई राणा और उनकी पत्नी बरकट्ठा की ओर से आ रहे थे, तभी विपरीत दिशा से तीव्र गति से आ रही क्रेटा ने उनकी बाइक को जोरदार टक्कर मार दी। हादसे के बाद क्षेत्र में शोक की लहर है, और पुलिस मामले की जांच में जुटी है।
