Babulal Marandi Blames Hemant Soren for Mismanagement in Constable Recruitment Process, Demands Justice for Youths Who Lost Their Lives

Ranchi: Babulal Marandi, the BJP President of Jharkhand, has launched a scathing critique of Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s handling of the state’s recruitment processes, particularly targeting the recent recruitment drive for excise constables. Marandi has labeled the process as a “death race” due to the tragic loss of lives and severe mismanagement involved.

According to Marandi, the recruitment process has become perilous, leading to the untimely deaths of ten young job seekers. He criticized the Soren administration for its inadequate arrangements, which have resulted in candidates being left to endure harsh conditions, including long waits in the middle of the night and exposure to extreme heat the next day.

“The recruitment drive, under Hemant Soren’s mismanagement, has turned into a life-threatening ordeal. Many young lives have been lost, and several families are now left in mourning,” Marandi stated. He highlighted the lack of proper medical facilities at recruitment centers and criticized the government for failing to ensure adequate resources along the selection routes.

Marandi further accused the Soren government of showing a blatant disregard for the welfare of unemployed youth, stating that after four and a half years of failing to provide job opportunities, the administration now seems indifferent to the severe consequences of its actions.

In response to the ongoing chaos, Marandi has called for immediate compensation for the families of the deceased and urged the government to provide jobs as a form of support. He also demanded a judicial inquiry into the recruitment process to address the serious lapses and ensure accountability.

This critique comes as Jharkhand continues to grapple with significant issues in its recruitment procedures, amplifying concerns about the state’s handling of employment and public welfare. The call for a thorough investigation reflects growing frustration among job seekers and their families, who are seeking justice and improvements in the recruitment system.
