अहमदाबाद : अदाणी विश्वविद्यालय ने शनिवार को अपने शांतिग्राम परिसर में अपना पहला दीक्षांत समारोह मनाया, जो संस्थान की शैक्षणिक उत्कृष्टता की यात्रा में एक महत्वपूर्ण माइलस्टोन को दर्शाता है। पद्मश्री कार्तिकेय विक्रम साराभाई, जो दुनिया के प्रमुख पर्यावरण शिक्षा के विशेषज्ञ और सेंटर फॉर एनवायरमेंट एजुकेशन (सीईई) के संस्थापक और निदेशक ने दीक्षांत समारोह को संबोधित किया। समारोह की अध्यक्षता अदाणी विश्वविद्यालय की अध्यक्ष डॉ. प्रीति अदाणी ने की। 69 पोस्ट ग्रेजुएट छात्रों ने एमबीए (इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर मैनेजमेंट), एमबीए (एनर्जी मैनेजमेंट) और एमटेक (कंस्ट्रक्शन इंजीनियरिंग और मैनेजमेंट) प्रोग्राम्स में अपनी डिग्रियां प्राप्त कीं, जबकि 4 छात्रों को उनके उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन के लिए स्वर्ण पदक दिए गए। यह दीक्षांत समारोह उनके लिए अदाणी विश्वविद्यालय के गौरवान्वित एंबेसडर के रूप में अपनी यात्रा की शुरुआत को रेखांकित करता है।

डॉ. प्रीति ने ग्रेजुएट्स से अपने ज्ञान का समाज के उत्थान के लिए उपयोग करने की अपील की

ग्रेजुएट्स को संबोधित करते हुए मुख्य अतिथि कार्तिकेय साराभाई ने कहा कि जब आप इस नए अध्याय की शुरुआत करते हैं, तो यह महत्वपूर्ण है कि आप उन चुनौतियों पर विचार करें, जिनका आप सामना करेंगे, और उन स्किल्स को पहचानें जिन्हें आपको प्रभावी रूप से नेविगेट करने की आवश्यकता होगी। श्री साराभाई ने फ्यूचर लीडर्स से समुदायों के साथ जुड़ने तथा विभिन्न स्टेकहोल्डर्स के साथ सहयोग करने की अपील की। अपने संबोधन में डॉ. प्रीति अदाणी ने अदाणी विश्वविद्यालय की स्थापना में सीनियर लीडरशिप, फैकल्टी और एडमिनिस्ट्रेटिव स्टाफ के लगातार प्रयासों को सराहा, जिसे 2022 में औपचारिक मंजूरी मिली। शिक्षा की परिवर्तनकारी शक्ति को उजागर करते हुए डॉ. अदाणी ने कहा कि शिक्षा में कभी न गिनी जा सकने वाली चमक है। उन्होंने “आत्मनिर्भर भारत” के प्रधानमंत्री के दृष्टिकोण के अनुरूप, लाइफ साइंस में रिसर्च और इनोवेशन पर ध्यान केंद्रित करने के लिए विश्वविद्यालय की प्रतिबद्धता को फिर से दोहराया। उन्होंने अदाणी विश्वविद्यालय को वैश्विक पहचान प्राप्त करने की अपनी आकांक्षा व्यक्त की और ग्रेजुएट्स से अपील की कि वे अपने अल्मा मेटर के एंबेसडर बनें और अपने ज्ञान का समाज के उत्थान के लिए उपयोग करें।
