के रवि कुमार ने कहा-आचार संहिता मामले में 90 पर कार्रवाई हुई, 200 करोड़ से अधिक की अवैध सामग्री और नकदी की जब्ती हुई

रांची : निर्वाचन सदन के मुख्य निर्वाचन पदाधिकारी के रवि कुमार ने मंगलवार को प्रेसवार्ता कहा कि निर्वाचन आयोग के संज्ञान में आचार संहिता उल्लंघन के जितने भी मामले आते हैं, उनपर तत्परता से मामला दर्ज कराकर कार्रवाई की प्रक्रिया शुरू कर दी जाती है. अभी तक आदर्श आचार संहिता उल्लंघन के मामले में 90 केस दर्ज कर कार्रवाई की गयी है.

उन्होंने पत्रकार वार्ता में आये सवालों का जवाब देते हुए पत्रकारों से भी अपील की कि उनके सामने भी आदर्श आचार संहिता उल्लंघन के मामले आते हैं, तो वे निर्वाचन आयोग के साथ उसे साक्ष्य समेत साझा करें, निर्वाचन आयोग नियमानुसार कार्रवाई सुनिश्चित करेगा. उन्होंने बताया कि आदर्श आचार संहिता लागू होने के बाद से लेकर अब तक 200 करोड़ से अधिक की अवैध सामग्री और नकदी की जब्ती की जा चुकी है.

38 विधानसभा क्षेत्रों के 14,218 बूथों पर होगा मतदान

श्री कुमार ने कहा कि दूसरे चरण का मतदान 20 नवंबर को कुल 38 विधानसभा क्षेत्रों के 14,218 बूथों पर होगा. इनमें से 31 बूथों पर सुबह सात से शाम चार बजे तक ही मतदान होगा. उन्होंने कहा कि मतदान कराने के लिए पोलिंग पार्टियां अपने-अपने मतदान केंद्रों पर पहुंच चुकी हैं.

उन्होंने सभी मतदाता सपरिवार, आस-पड़ोस और मित्रों के साथ मतदान केंद्र जाकर उत्सव वाले माहौल में मतदान करने की अपील की. उन्होंने बताया कि दूसरे चरण के 14,218 बूथों में से 48 बूथ को यूनिक बूथ के रूप में विकसित किया गया है. वहीं महिलाओं द्वारा संचालित मतदान केंद्रों की संख्या 239 है. 22 मतदान केंद्र दिव्यांगजनों द्वारा संचालित होंगे. जबकि, युवाओं के हाथों में 26 मतदान केंद्रों की व्यवस्था रहेगी.
