सरकार ने मोबाइल फोन उपयोगकर्ताओं को चेतावनी दी, इन कॉल को न उठाने का आग्रह किया

सरकार ने भारत में मोबाइल फोन उपभोक्ताओं के लिए चेतावनी जारी की है, जिसमें उनसे अंतरराष्ट्रीय धोखाधड़ी कॉलों से “सतर्क रहने” का आग्रह किया गया है। एक्स पर एक नए पोस्ट में, दूरसंचार विभाग ने उपयोगकर्ताओं से सतर्क रहने और अंतरराष्ट्रीय डायलिंग कोड वाले नंबरों से जुड़ने से बचने के लिए कहा है, क्योंकि वे अक्सर दुर्भावनापूर्ण पाए गए हैं।

DoT ने पोस्ट में कहा कि उपयोगकर्ताओं को +77, +89, +85, +86 और +84 से शुरू होने वाले नंबरों से कॉल आने पर सावधानी बरतनी चाहिए। इन कोडों में से, केवल +86 और +84 ही वर्तमान में काम कर रहे हैं, जो क्रमशः चीन और वियतनाम के हैं। बाकी कोड डमी या असाइन नहीं किए गए हैं। सरकार की दूरसंचार एजेंसी ने कहा कि वह “कभी” ऐसे कॉल नहीं करती है, उपयोगकर्ताओं को सूचित करती है कि कैसे कुछ धोखाधड़ी कॉलों में लोग सरकारी अधिकारियों के रूप में लाइन पर आ सकते हैं।

यदि किसी उपयोगकर्ता को किसी अज्ञात नंबर से उपरोक्त डायलिंग प्रीफ़िक्स में से किसी एक के साथ कॉल या एसएमएस प्राप्त होता है, तो उन्हें चक्षु के माध्यम से सरकार के संचार साथी पोर्टल पर इस तरह के संचार की रिपोर्ट करनी चाहिए। DoT ने कहा कि ऐसा करने से उसे “इन नंबरों को ब्लॉक करने और दूसरों की सुरक्षा करने में मदद मिलेगी।”

यह चेतावनी ऐसे समय में आई है जब भारतीय दूरसंचार नियामक प्राधिकरण (ट्राई) एसएमएस में स्पैम और अन्य अवांछित सामग्री पर लगाम लगाने के लिए वाणिज्यिक संदेशों की ट्रेसबिलिटी पर नियमों को अंतिम रूप दे रहा है। इस साल की शुरुआत में प्रस्तावित नए अधिदेश में दूरसंचार कंपनियों के विभिन्न अनुरोधों के कारण कई बार समय सीमा बढ़ाई गई है। पहले इसे 28 अक्टूबर और फिर 30 नवंबर को लागू होना था, ट्राई ने एक बार फिर समय सीमा बढ़ा दी है। 11 दिसंबर को नई समय सीमा के साथ, ट्राई ने दूरसंचार कंपनियों और टेलीमार्केटिंग कंपनियों को वन-टाइम पासवर्ड (ओटीपी) की डिलीवरी को सुलझाने के लिए अधिक समय दिया है, जो वाणिज्यिक संदेशों के दायरे में आते हैं। अधिदेश के कार्यान्वयन से ओटीपी वितरण भी बाधित होगा, दूरसंचार कंपनियों और वाणिज्यिक संगठनों ने नवीनतम समय सीमा विस्तार के पक्ष में तर्क दिया है।
