रांची : बहुचर्चित निलंबित आईएएस अधिकारी पूजा सिंघल को आखिरकार ईडी कोर्ट ने उन्हें 28 महीने बाद जमानत दे दी है। मनी लांड्रिंग मामले में उन्हें बड़ी राहत मिली है. पूजा सिंघल को दो-दो लाख रुपये के निजी मुचलके पर रिहा किया जाएगा। लेकिन उन्हें अपना पासपोर्ट कोर्ट में जमा करना होगा। यह शर्त उनकी जमानत का हिस्सा है। उनकी गिरफ्तारी 11 मई 2022 को हुई थी।
मनरेगा घोटाले की जांच को लेकर पूजा सिंघल पर ईडी ने कसा था शिकंजा
ईडी ने मनरेगा घोटाले की जांच के दौरान पूजा सिंघल पर शिकंजा कसा था। गिरफ्तारी से पहले पूजा सिंघल झारखंड सरकार में एक वरिष्ठ आईएएस अधिकारी थीं। ईडी का आरोप है कि उन्होंने अपने पद का दुरुपयोग कर अवैध धन अर्जित किया है. ईडी ने पूजा सिंघल के कई ठिकानों पर छापेमारी कर करोड़ों रुपये नकद बरामद किए थे.
6 मई 2022 को पूजा के ठिकानों पर ईडी की छापेमारी में करोड़ों रुपये मिले थे
बता दें कि पूजा सिंघल के खिलाफ ईडी ने 6 मई 2022 को उनके ठिकानों पर छापेमारी की थी और 11 मई 2022 को उन्हें गिरफ्तार कर लिया था। निलंबन से पहले पूजा सिंघल उद्योग सचिव और खान सचिव का प्रभार संभाल रही थीं। वह झारखंड राज्य खनिज विकास निगम (JSMDC) की चेयरमैन भी रह चुकी हैं।
भाजपा सरकार में उन्होंने कृषि सचिव के रूप में भी काम किया था। मनरेगा घोटाले के समय वह खूंटी में उपायुक्त के पद पर तैनात थीं। रांची के बरियातू स्थित पल्स अस्पताल उनके पति अभिषेक झा का बताया जाता है. इस अस्पताल को ईडी ने जब्त कर रखा है.
