विनोबा भावे विश्वविद्यालय में इतिहास विभाग के विभागाध्यक्ष डॉ विकास कुमार को छात्र कल्याण संकायअध्यक्ष बनाए जाने पर शनिवार को उन्हें बधाई देने वालों का ताता लगा रहा। दोपहर होते-होते उनके कार्यालय कक्ष रंग बिरंगे वह खूबसूरत पुष्पगुच्छ और पुष्प स्तबक से भर गया।
आज सबसे पहले विनोबा भावे विश्वविद्यालय एलुमनाई एसोसिएशन के सदस्यों ने उन्हें स्वागत किया और बुके देकर बधाई दी। एलुमनाई एसोसिएशन के पदाधिकारियों ने डॉ विकास कुमार को बधाई दी और उम्मीद जताई कि विश्वविद्यालय में छात्र हित के बंद हुए कार्य फिर से प्रारंभ होंगे। संघ के सदस्यो ने कहा कि डॉ विकास कुमार के नेतृत्व में विश्वविद्यालय में खेल और सांस्कृतिक गतिविधियों में भी तेजी आएगी। इस अवसर पर एलुमनाई एसोसिएशन के सदस्यों ने एलुमनाई एसोसिएशन के पंजीयन की प्रक्रिया को जल्द पूरा कराने की बात की और जल्द से जल्द पंजीयन संख्या प्राप्त करने की उम्मीद जताई।
संघ के सदस्यो ने कहा कि विश्वविद्यालय में एलुमिनाई संघ को उचित स्थान पर कार्यालय उपलब्ध कराया जाना चाहिए। नये छात्र कल्याण संकायाध्यक्ष ने एसोसिएशन को आश्वासन दिया कि जल्द से जल्द एसोसिएशन को पंजीयन की प्रकिया पुरी की जाएगी, और कार्यालय आवंटन कराया जाएगा। मौके पर एलुमनाई एसोसिएशन के अध्यक्ष डॉ मंसूर आलम फाखरी, सचिव डॉ सनी कुमार मेहता, उपाध्यक्ष डॉ अमिता, कोषाध्यक्ष डॉ प्रभात प्रधान, सदस्यों में डॉ कुमारी भारती, शोधार्थी डॉ समीर कुमार, मुकेश राम प्रजापति, मोहम्मद फजल, धर्मेंद्र कुमार आदि उपस्थित थे।
बधाई देने वाले में कई अवकाश प्राप्त शिक्षक, स्नातकोत्तर एवं महाविद्यालयों के शिक्षकों की टोली, विश्वविद्यालय के पूर्व पदाधिकारी, एनएसयूआई छात्र संघ, झारखंड मुक्ति मोर्चा के छात्र मोर्चा के सदस्य, अलग-अलग विभाग के शोधार्थी, विद्यार्थी तथा विश्वविद्यालय में कार्यरत तृतीया वह चतुर्थ वर्ग के कर्मी भी शामिल थे।
