डुमरी: ग्रामीणों ने मवेशी चोर को दबोचा, पुलिस को सौंपा

डुमरी प्रखंड के कुसटो मोड़ पर बीती रात ग्रामीणों ने मवेशी चोर को पकड़ने में सफलता पाई। जानकारी के अनुसार, रतनाडिह होते हुए रात करीब 1 बजे दो गाड़ियों में मवेशी लेकर कुछ लोग गुजर रहे थे। इसी दौरान ग्रामीणों ने मवेशी भरी गाड़ियों को देखा। शक होने पर ग्रामीणों ने पीछा किया, जिससे चारों चोर भागने लगे।

ग्रामीणों ने भाग रहे चोरों में से एक को पकड़ लिया। पूछताछ के दौरान उसने अपना घर बिहार बताया। गुस्साए ग्रामीणों ने चोर की पिटाई की और सुबह करीब 8 बजे पुलिस को सूचना देकर उसे उनके हवाले कर दिया।

पुलिस मामले की जांच कर रही है और फरार चोरों की तलाश जारी है। ग्रामीणों की सतर्कता से एक बड़ा अपराध टल गया।
