किताबों का जादू और डिजिटल युग की चुनौती

किताबें जीवन में मित्र, सलाहकार, और मार्गदर्शक की भूमिका निभाती हैं। उनके माध्यम से हम कल्पना की ऐसी दुनिया में कदम रखते हैं, जो वास्तविक जीवन में शायद कभी साकार न हो। ये न केवल हमारे शब्द भंडार को समृद्ध करती हैं, बल्कि हमारे विचारों को भी विस्तार देती हैं। जिस तरह भोजन हमारे शरीर का पोषण करता है, ठीक वैसे ही किताबें हमारे मन को ऊर्जा देती हैं।

मेरा किताबों से जुड़ाव हमेशा गहरा रहा है। लेकिन आधुनिक युग में, टेक्नोलॉजी ने जहाँ जीवन को सुविधाजनक बनाया है, वहीं भावनात्मक जुड़ाव को कमजोर कर दिया है। किताबें भी इस बदलाव से अछूती नहीं रहीं। डिजिटल युग के साथ, किताबें भले ही ई-बुक्स और ऑडियोबुक्स के रूप में आसानी से उपलब्ध हैं, लेकिन उनकी आत्मीयता कहीं खोती जा रही है।

डिजिटल किताबों का बढ़ता चलन
आज भी किताबें उपलब्ध हैं, लेकिन अब उनका रूप बदल चुका है। ई-बुक्स और डिजिटल किताबों का प्रचलन तेजी से बढ़ा है। पहले किताबों के लिए लाइब्रेरी जाना, दोस्तों से मांगकर पढ़ना, और पन्नों को पलटना एक अनोखा अनुभव हुआ करता था। इन पलों में किताबों के साथ-साथ रिश्तों का भी निर्माण होता था।

अब डिजिटल किताबों के साथ यह अनुभव काफी बदल गया है। पन्ने पलटने का आनंद, किताब की नई महक, और धीरे-धीरे खुलने वाले कल्पना के द्वार डिजिटल स्वाइप और स्क्रॉल में खो गए हैं। हाल ही में ऑडियोबुक्स का चलन भी तेज़ी से बढ़ा है। ये किताबों को सुनने का एक विकल्प प्रदान करती हैं, लेकिन इनमें पढ़ने का सुखद एहसास और लेखक के शब्दों के साथ जुड़ाव कहीं गायब हो जाता है।

भावनात्मक जुड़ाव की कमी
हर पाठक का अपनी कल्पनाशक्ति से पढ़ने का एक अलग तरीका होता है। पढ़े हुए शब्द हमारे अवचेतन मन में दर्ज हो जाते हैं, जिससे वे लंबे समय तक याद रहते हैं। ऑडियोबुक्स इस अनुभव से हमें वंचित कर देती हैं। सुने गए शब्द देर-सवेर भूल जाते हैं, लेकिन पढ़ी हुई किताबें एक एहसास बनकर हमेशा के लिए हमारे मन में बस जाती हैं।

एक लेखक के तौर पर, मैं समझता हूँ कि हर लेखक चाहता है कि पाठक उसके अनुभव और भावनाओं को उसी गहराई से महसूस करे, जैसा उसने लिखते समय किया था। यह जुड़ाव केवल किताबों के असल रूप से ही संभव है।

किताबों के मूल स्वरूप की अहमियत
तकनीक चाहे जितनी भी उन्नत हो जाए, कुछ चीज़ें अपने मूल स्वरूप में ही आनंद देती हैं। किताबों का असली मजा उनके पन्नों में है। गुलजार साहब की एक नज्म की पंक्तियाँ इस संदर्भ में सटीक बैठती हैं:
“वो सारा इल्म तो मिलता रहेगा आइंदा भी मगर,
वो जो किताबों में मिला करते थे सूखे फूल और महके हुए रुक्के,
किताबें माँगने गिरने उठाने के बहाने रिश्ते बनते थे,
उनका क्या होगा, वो शायद अब नहीं होंगे…”
