गुमला में सड़क सुरक्षा समिति की बैठक संपन्न, दुर्घटनाओं की रोकथाम के लिए उठाए जाएंगे सख्त कदम

गुमला: जिले में सड़क दुर्घटनाओं की बढ़ती संख्या और सुरक्षा उपायों को मजबूत करने के उद्देश्य से उप विकास आयुक्त की अध्यक्षता में सड़क सुरक्षा समिति की बैठक आयोजित की गई। बैठक में जनवरी 2023 से दिसंबर 2024 तक हुई दुर्घटनाओं का विस्तृत आकलन किया गया और संभावित सुधारों पर चर्चा की गई।

दुर्घटनाओं के आंकड़ों पर चर्चा

बैठक में प्रस्तुत आंकड़ों के अनुसार:

• 2023 में 204 सड़क दुर्घटनाओं में 202 लोगों की मृत्यु और 88 लोग घायल हुए।
• 2024 में सड़क दुर्घटनाओं की संख्या बढ़कर 235 हो गई, जिसमें 221 लोगों की जान गई और 66 लोग घायल हुए।
• जनवरी 2024 में 26 सड़क दुर्घटनाओं में 22 लोगों की मौत और 5 घायल हुए।
• जनवरी 2025 में 22 सड़क दुर्घटनाओं में 21 लोगों की मृत्यु और 7 लोग घायल हुए।

इन आंकड़ों से स्पष्ट हुआ कि पिछले वर्षों की तुलना में दुर्घटनाओं और मौतों की संख्या में वृद्धि हुई है, जिससे सुरक्षा उपायों को कड़ाई से लागू करने की आवश्यकता पर बल दिया गया।

सड़क सुरक्षा को लेकर दिए गए निर्देश

उप विकास आयुक्त ने संबंधित विभागों को आवश्यक सुधारों के लिए सख्त निर्देश जारी किए:

1. सड़क संकेतक (साइनेज बोर्ड) की स्थापना:
   • जहां साइनेज बोर्ड नहीं हैं, वहां जल्द से जल्द लगाए जाएं।
   • ब्लैक स्पॉट और संवेदनशील स्थानों की पहचान कर सुधारात्मक कार्य किए जाएं।
   • सभी ब्लॉक मुख्यालयों पर सड़क सुरक्षा से जुड़े होर्डिंग लगाए जाएं।
2. संवेदनशील सड़कों पर सुधार कार्य:
   • पालकोट-बसिया रोड के नाथपुर क्षेत्र में घुमावदार सड़कों पर क्रैश बैरियर लगाने का निर्देश।
   • उर्मी बाईपास रोड पर जल्द से जल्द चौराहा निर्माण का प्रस्ताव।
   • घाघरा चौक के निर्माण को लेकर शीघ्र प्रस्ताव समर्पित करने का निर्देश।
   • आदर के पास गति नियंत्रण बोर्ड लगाने का आदेश।
3. यातायात नियमों का कड़ाई से पालन:
   • शहरी और ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में दोपहिया वाहनों की चेकिंग अभियान जारी रहेगा।
   • रेश ड्राइविंग और बिना हेलमेट वाहन चलाने वालों का ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस निलंबित किया जाएगा।
   • सभी स्कूलों में सड़क सुरक्षा जागरूकता अभियान चलाया जाएगा।

बैठक में शामिल अधिकारी

बैठक में उप विकास आयुक्त दिलेश्वर महतो, अनुमंडल पदाधिकारी राजीव नीरज (सदर गुमला), अनुमंडल पदाधिकारी (चैनपुर), जिला परिवहन पदाधिकारी राकेश कुमार गोप, मोटरयान निरीक्षक, पुलिस उपाधीक्षक, कार्यपालक अभियंता (राष्ट्रीय उच्च पथ एवं राजकीय पथ) और अन्य विभागीय अधिकारी उपस्थित रहे।

सुरक्षा उपायों के प्रभावी क्रियान्वयन पर जोर

बैठक के दौरान अधिकारियों ने सड़क सुरक्षा को लेकर त्वरित और प्रभावी कदम उठाने पर सहमति जताई। दुर्घटनाओं को कम करने के लिए जनजागरूकता और कड़े कानून प्रवर्तन की दिशा में ठोस कार्रवाई करने पर बल दिया गया।
