जिला प्रशासन और स्वास्थ्य विभाग द्वारा अंतराष्ट्रीय मिर्गी दिवस का किया गया आयोजन

मिर्गी एक न्यूरोलाजिकल विकार है जिसमें मस्तिष्क की तंत्रिका कोशिकाओं की असामान्य गतिविधि के कारण मरीज को दौरे पड़ सकते हैं

जिले में मिर्गी रोगियों के इलाज हेतु आगामी 11 एवं 12 फरवरी को निःशुल्क चिकित्सा शिविर का आयोजन किया जाएगा।

गुमला : – गुमला जिले के नगर भवन में आज अंतरराष्ट्रीय मिर्गी दिवस का आयोजन किया गया। नगर भवन में आयोजित इस कार्यक्रम में प्रभारी चिकित्सा पदाधिकारी, चिकित्सा पदाधिकारी, सामुदायिक स्वास्थ्य अधिकारी (सीएचओ), प्रखंड सहिया सहजकर्ता(बीएएफ) और सहिया साथी ने भाग लिया। कार्यालय का उद्घाटन एम्स दिल्ली की डीएम न्यूरोलॉजी प्रोफेसर डॉ ममता भूषण सिंह, सिविल सर्जन डॉ नवल कुमार , डीआरसीएचओ डॉ सुनील राम द्वारा द्वीप प्रज्ज्वलित कर किया गया।
इस अवसर पर डॉ ममता भूषण सिंह ने कहा कि मिर्गी एक न्यूरोलाजिकल विकार है। जिसमें मस्तिष्क की तंत्रिका कोशिकाओं की असामान्य गतिविधि के कारण मरीज को दौरे पड़ सकते हैं। यह दौरे व्यक्ति के व्यवहार, शारीरिक क्रियाओं और चेतना पर प्रभाव डालते हैं।
इस अवसर पर सिविल सर्जन डॉ नवल कुमार ने कहा कि इस बीमारी को लेकर समाज में फैले अंधविश्वास को दूर करने के लिए जिला प्रशासन द्वारा प्रोजेक्ट आशा फाइटिंग एपिलेप्सी एंड सुपरस्टिशन कार्यक्रम चलाया जा रहा है। इस प्रोजेक्ट आशा के तहत डॉ ममता भूषण सिंह स्वयं और उनके टीम द्वारा समय-समय पर जिले में जांच शिविर लगाया जाता रहा है।
प्रभारी डीआरसीएचओ डॉ सुनील राम ने कहा कि मिर्गी रोगियों के इलाज हेतु आगामी 11 फरबरी को प्रखंड कार्यालय के समीप पुराना समाहनालय भवन और 12 फरबरी को सामुदायिक स्वास्थ्य केंद्र, भरनो में शिविर लगाया जाएगा।
इस अवसर पर जिला कार्यक्रम प्रबंधक, जिला लेखा प्रबंधक, जिला कार्यक्रम समन्वयक सहिया सभी प्रभारी चिकित्सा पदाधिकारी, सभी चिकित्सा पदाधिकारी, सभी सामुदायिक स्वास्थ्य अधिकारी, सभी प्रखंड आशा सहजकर्ता, सभी सहिया साथी उपस्थित थे।

मिर्गी रोगियों के इलाज हेतु आगामी 11 एवं 12 फरवरी को निःशुल्क चिकित्सा शिविर का आयोजन किया जाएगा। उपायुक्त कर्ण सत्यार्थि के निर्देशानुसार इस कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत 10 फरवरी को नगर भवन गुमला में उद्घाटन समारोह के साथ होगी, जहां जिले के चिकित्सकों, सामुदायिक स्वास्थ्य केंद्र (सीएचसी) के डॉक्टरों एवं अन्य संबंधित स्वास्थ्यकर्मियों को प्रशिक्षण प्रदान किया जाएगा।

शिविर का आयोजन 11 फरवरी को गुमला सदर अस्पताल में और 12 फरवरी को भरनो प्रखंड के सामुदायिक स्वास्थ्य केंद्र (सीएचसी) में किया जाएगा। इस चिकित्सा शिविर में मिर्गी के मरीजों का निःशुल्क उपचार किया जाएगा। एम्स दिल्ली की डीएम न्यूरोलॉजी, प्रोफेसर डॉ. ममता भूषण सिंह अपनी विशेषज्ञ टीम के साथ उपस्थित रहेंगी और मरीजों का उपचार करेंगी।

मिर्गी एक न्यूरोलॉजिकल विकार है, जिसमें मस्तिष्क की तंत्रिका कोशिकाओं की असामान्य गतिविधि के कारण मरीज को दौरे पड़ सकते हैं। यह दौरे व्यक्ति के व्यवहार, शारीरिक क्रियाओं और चेतना पर प्रभाव डालते हैं। इस बीमारी को लेकर समाज में फैले अंधविश्वास को दूर करने के लिए जिला प्रशासन द्वारा “प्रोजेक्ट आशा – फाइटिंग एपिलेप्सी एंड सुपरस्टिशन” कार्यक्रम चलाया जा रहा है। इस कार्यक्रम के अंतर्गत डॉक्टर ममता भूषण सिंह द्वारा समय-समय पर जिले के चिकित्सकों, सामुदायिक स्वास्थ्य अधिकारियों (सीएचओ) एवं सहिया कार्यकर्ताओं को प्रशिक्षण दिया जाता है, ताकि वे मिर्गी रोग की पहचान एवं उपचार में सहायता कर सकें।

जिले के सभी नागरिकों से अपील है कि वे इस निःशुल्क चिकित्सा शिविर का अधिक से अधिक लाभ उठाएं और मिर्गी रोगियों को समुचित उपचार दिलाने में सहयोग करें।
