कुपोषण की चुनौती से प्रभावी ढंग से निपटने के लिए संतुलित पोषण व पोषण साक्षरता के प्रति संवेदनशील रहना जरूरी: डीसी

पोषण पखवाड़ा के तहत कुकिंग प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन, सभी प्रखंड से सहायिकाओं ने भाग लिया

गिरिडीह : समाज कल्याण विभाग अंतर्गत पोषण पखवाड़ा के तहत समाहरणालय में शनिवार को कुकिंग प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया गया। जिसमें जिले के सभी प्रखंड से सहायिकाओं ने भाग लिया। कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत बतौर मुख्य अतिथि उपायुक्त नमन प्रियेश लकड़ा ने की। स्थानीय स्तर पर उपलब्ध मौसमी सब्जियां, दलहन, मोटा अनाज (मिलेट्स) सहित अन्य पारंपरिक खाद्य पदार्थों का उपयोग कर पौष्टिक तथा स्वास्थ्यवर्धक व्यंजन तैयार किए गए।

मौके पर कार्यक्रम को संबोधित करते हुए उपायुक्त ने कहा कि कार्यक्रम के दौरान प्रतिभागियों को मोटे अनाज में उपलब्ध पोषक तत्वों की जानकारी दी गई तथा उनके स्वास्थ्य लाभ के प्रति लोगों को जागरूक किया गया। यह पहल कुपोषण की रोकथाम और स्वस्थ जीवनशैली को बढ़ावा देने की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम है।

डीसी ने कहा कि पोषण पखवाड़ा के माध्यम से विभाग का उद्देश्य समुदाय को स्वस्थ आहार, संतुलित पोषण एवं पोषण साक्षरता के प्रति संवेदनशील बनाना है, जिससे कुपोषण की चुनौती से प्रभावी ढंग से निपटा जा सके।

उन्होंने कहा कि आंगनबाड़ी केन्द्रों पर बच्चों की वृद्धि निगरानी, जीवन के पहले 1000 दिनों के महत्व पर चर्चा, समुदाय आधारित कुपोषण प्रबंधन, बच्चों में मोटापा के नियंत्रण हेतु स्वस्थ जीवन शैली को अपनाना जैसे विषयों पर जागरूकता लाना है।

तीन परियोजनाओं को पुरस्कृत किया गया

उपायुक्त ने बताया कि इस कार्यक्रम के सफल आयोजन के पश्चात तीन परियोजनाओं को पुरस्कृत किया गया है। जिनमें प्रथम स्थान गांवा, द्वितीय स्थान डुमरी तथा तीसरा स्थान बिरनी को मिला है। डीसी ने समाज कल्याण विभाग के पदाधिकारियों को आपसी समन्वय स्थापित कर कार्य करते हुए अभियान को सफल बनाने के निर्देश दिए।

डीसी ने कहा जिला को कुपोषण मुक्त करने की दिशा में कार्य करना है। इसके लिए आंगनबाड़ी केन्द्रों में शत-प्रतिशत बच्चो की उपस्थिति तथा बच्चों को गुणवत्तापूर्ण पौष्टिक आहार उपलब्ध करायें। इसके अलावा सभी को पोषण पखवाड़ा शपथ दिलाई गई।

इस अवसर पर विशेष रूप से मोटे अनाज के उपयोग को बढ़ावा दिया गया, जिसमें रागी, बाजरा, ज्वार आदि शामिल थे। कार्यक्रम का संचालन जिला समाज कल्याण पदाधिकारी स्नेह कश्यप ने किया। मौके पर जिला जनसंपर्क पदाधिकारी अंजना भारती, जिला शिक्षा पदाधिकारी वसीम अहमद समेत अन्य संबंधित अधिकारी उपस्थित थे।
