सुप्रीम कोर्ट से रांची डीसी मंजूनाथ भजंत्री को अभी राहत मिलने की उम्मीद नहीं, याचिका पर जवाब के लिए सरकार ने मांगा समय

रांची : रांची के उपायुक्त मंजूनाथ भजंत्री को अभी सुप्रीम कोर्ट से राहत नहीं मिली है. उपायुक्त की याचिका पर अब सुप्रीम कोर्ट में चार सप्ताह बाद सुनवाई होगी. गुरुवार को हुई सुनवाई के दौरान राज्य सरकार की ओर से जवाब दाखिल करने के किए समय देने का आग्रह किया गया. जिसे शीर्ष अदालत ने स्वीकार करते हुए चार सप्ताह में जवाब दाखिल करने का निर्देश दिया है.

सुप्रीम कोर्ट की बेंच में भजंत्री की याचिका पर सुनवाई चल रही है. दरअसल मंजूनाथ भजंंत्री ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट में एसएलपी (स्पेशल लीव पिटीशन) दाखिल कर हाईकोर्ट के उस आदेश को चुनौती दी है, जिसमें उन्हें चुनावी कार्य से दूर रखे जाने के आदेश दिया गया था.

बता दें कि पिछले वर्ष 22 सितंबर को झारखंड हाईकोर्ट ने रांची डीसी मंजूनाथ भजंत्री के खिलाफ विभागीय कार्रवाई करने और उन्हें चुनावी कार्यों से उन्हें अलग रखने के आदेश के खिलाफ दायर अपील याचिका स्वीकार कर ली थी. इसके बाद उन्हें चुनाव के कार्य से दूर रखा गया था. आचार संहिता के दौरान आनन-फानन में उन्हें रांची डीसी के पद से हटा कर वरुण रंजन को रांची डीसी नियुक्त कर दिया गया था.

हालांकि हेमंत सोरेन के मुख्यमंत्री पद की शपथ लेने के तुरंत बाद राज्य सरकार ने वापस उन्हें रांची डीसी नियुक्त कर दिया. माना जाता है कि मंजूनाथ भजंत्री के देवघर में डीसी रहते गोड्डा सांसद निशिकांत दुबे से देवघर एयरपोर्ट में इंट्री को लेकर विवाद हुआ था. इसके बाद मामला कोर्ट पहुंचा.
