कोयला कारोबारी प्रमोद सिंह ईडी के कब्जे में : गबन की रकम कोयले के कारोबार में लगाया और हो गया मालामाल

एनआरएचएम घोटाले का किंगपिन प्रमोद सिंह के आवास से पिछले साल ईडी ने उसके परिवार की 1.63 करोड़ की संपत्ति जब्त की थी. आवंटित राशि को अपने परिवार और मित्रों के नाम पर ट्रांसफर कराया. ईडी की पूछताछ में अभी और कई तरह के खुलासे संभव

धनबाद : धनबाद में एनआरएचएम घोटाले का किंगपिन प्रमोद सिंह आवंटित राशि को अपने परिवार और मित्रों के नाम पर ट्रांसफर किया. उसके बाद उस पैसे से कोयले का कारोबार शुरू किया. देखते-देखते उसका कारोबार चल निकला और वह राज्य में एक बड़ा कोयला कारोबारी के रूप में स्थापित हो गया. 2016 में यह मामला सामने आया था. उसके बाद 2019 में निगरानी ब्यूरो में मामला दर्ज हुआ. इसी केस को आधार बनाकर ईडी ने जांच शुरू की तो कई खुलासे सामने आते गए.

दरअसल, जांच में पता चला था कि प्रभारी चिकित्सा पदाधिकारी और प्रमोद सिंह संयुक्त रूप से एनआरएचएम का फंड निकालने और खर्च करने के लिए अधिकृत थे. दोनों ने अपने पद का दुरुपयोग कर सरकारी धन का गबन किया. आरोपियों ने जिला स्वास्थ्य समिति द्वारा प्राथमिक स्वास्थ्य केंद्र झरिया सह जोड़ापोखर को आवंटित राशि में बंदरबांट की.

प्रवर्तन निदेशालय की टीम ने पिछले दिन धनबाद में अलग-अलग तिथियों पर उसके ठिकानों पर छापेमारी की थी. प्रमोद सिंह को हाजिर होने के लिए समन निर्गत किया जा रहा था, लेकिन वह कोई ना कोई बहाना बनाकर हाजिर नहीं हो रहा था. अंततः जब वह हाजिर हुआ तो प्रवर्तन निदेशालय ने उसे गिरफ्तार कर लिया. प्रवर्तन निदेशालय ने एसीबी में चल रहे मामले के आधार पर मनी लॉन्ड्रिंग का केस दर्ज किया था.

इस घोटाले में धनबाद के दो पूर्व सिविल सर्जन सहित नौ लोगों को आरोपी बनाया गया है.  धनबाद के तत्कालीन दो सिविल सर्जन की अनदेखी की वजह से झरिया सह जोड़ापोखर स्वास्थ्य केंद्र में लगभग 7 करोड रुपए का बड़ा घोटाला हुआ था.

संविदा पर कार्यरत था प्रमोद सिंह

बता दें कि प्रमोद सिंह झरिया सह जोड़ापोखर प्राथमिक स्वास्थ्य केंद्र में संविदा पर ब्लॉक अकाउंट मैनेजर के पद पर कार्यरत था. पद पर रहते हुए उसने कई गड़बड़ियां की थी. प्रवर्तन निदेशालय ने इस मामले में धनबाद के दो तत्कालीन सिविल सर्जन डॉक्टर शशि भूषण सिंह, डॉक्टर अरुण कुमार सिन्हा, प्रमोद सिंह की पत्नी प्रिया सिंह, अश्विनी शर्मा, अजीत कुमार, रामजय कुमार सिंह, अरुण कुमार सिंह और अमरेंद्र कुमार पांडे को आरोपी बनाया है.

बताया जाता है कि प्रमोद सिंह को ईडी ने कुल 12 बार समन भेजा था, लेकिन वह किसी समन पर उपस्थित नहीं हुआ. इसके बाद ईडी ने कोर्ट से वारंट लिया और वारंट देकर रांची कार्यालय में हाजिर होने को कहा. वारंट पर प्रमोद सिंह पहुंचा, वहां पूछताछ के बाद उसे गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया.

इसके पहले पिछले साल ईडी ने प्रमोद सिंह और उसके परिवार की 1.63 करोड़ की संपत्ति जब्त की थी. उसपर आवंटित राशि को अपने परिवार और मित्रों के नाम पर ट्रांसफर करने का आरोप है. प्रमोद सिंह फिलहाल ईडी के रिमांड पर है. उससे पूछताछ में और कई तरह के खुलासे संभव है.
