आदिवासियों की धार्मिक पहचान बचाने के लिए हेमंत सोरेन को भी स्टालिन की तरह ‘सरना कोड’ के लिए कड़ा रुख अपनाना होगा

जनगणना और डिलीमिटेशन के पहले हो आदिवासियों के लिए अलग धार्मिक कोड का प्रावधान

रांची : अपने प्राकृत धर्म को बचाना झारखंड के आदिवासियों के लिए एक गंभीर चुनौती बन गयी है. बहिरागतों की बढ़ती आबादी का अनुपात उन्हें अपने घर में ही अल्पसंख्यक बना रहा है और उनकी धार्मिक पहचान विलुप्त होने के कगार पर है. दरअसल, आक्रमणकारी ताकतें सिर्फ आदिवासियों का जल, जंगल, जमीन ही नहीं छीन रही हैं, बल्कि उनकी अस्मिता और अलग पहचान को भी खत्म करती हैं.

2011 की जनगणना के आधार पर जो आंकड़े उपलब्ध हैं, उनके अनुसार झारखंड में हिंदू धर्म सबसे बड़ा धर्म बन चुका है. कुल आबादी में इस धर्म को मानने वाले 67.8 फीसदी, इस्लाम धर्म को मानने वाले 14.53 फीसदी, सरना धर्म को मानने वाले महज 12. 52 फीसदी, ईसाई धर्म को मानने वाले 4.31 फीसदी, सिख धर्म को मानने वाले 4.31 फीसदी अन्य धर्म को मानने वाले हैं. इसके लिए जो ग्राफिक बनाया गया है, उसमें भगवा रंग सबसे बड़ा है.

झारखंड में आदिवासी आबादी 26 फीसदी है. मान लीजिये इनमें से कुछ ईसाई आदिवासी बन गये. फिर भी आदिवासी आबादी 22 फीसदी तो है ही. अब उनमें सरना आदिवासी यदि 12.5 फीसदी है तो करीबन 10 फीसदी आदिवासी कहां गये?

जहिर है कि उनका तेजी से हिंदूकरण हो रहा है. वह भी आकड़ों में. और यह संकट इसलिए है कि उनके लिए जनगणना में अलग से कोई धार्मिक कोड नहीं.

सरना कोड की मांग हो रही है, हेमंत सोरेन की सरकार ने पिछली विधानसभा में सरना कोड का प्रस्ताव पारित कर केद्र सरकार को भेजा भी, लेकिन केंद्र की भाजपा सरकार उसमें रोड़े अटकाये हुए है. और कारण भी स्पष्ट है. संघ का मानना है कि आदिवासी हिंदू ही हैं.

‘सरना-सनातन’ एक है उनके हिसाब से. और ऐसा वे सिर्फ अपनी टुच्ची चुनावी राजनीति के लिए कर रहे हैं. एक तरफ तो ईसाइयों पर यह आरोप लगाना कि वे धर्मांतरण कर आदिवासियों को ईसाई बना रहे हैं, दूसरी तरफ खुल्लम खुल्ला आदिवासियों को हिंदू बता रहे हैं. यदि यह सच है तो वे आदिवासियों को अलग धार्मिक कोड क्यों नहीं देते?

आदिवासियों के पूरे विलोपन का खतरा मंडरा रहा है

यह सही है कि धर्म बदलने से नस्ल नहीं बदलता, आदिवासीयत खत्म नहीं होती. लेकिन साल दर साल आदिवासियों की गणना हिंदू धर्म को ही मानने वाला मान लिया जाये तो ‘सरना-सनातन एक है’ का उनका षडयंत्र सच होकर रहेगा.

अभी तक मेरी जानकारी में आदिवासियों के लिए कोई अलग धार्मिक कोड नहीं. आदिवासीबहुल अनेक राज्यों में आदिवासी दिखेंगे ही ही नहीं, क्योंकि उनके लिए अलग धार्मिक कोड नहीं. इस गोरखधंधे से आदिवासी ही विलुप्त होते जा रहे हैं. अंग्रेजों ने उनकी गणना सीधे ट्राइब के रूप में की. कम से कम उनकी वास्तविक संख्या का तो रेकार्ड रहता था. अभी के हालात में तो आदिवासियों के पूरे विलोपन का खतरा मंडरा रहा है.

हेमंत सोरेन को इस सवाल पर सक्रिय भूमिका निभानी चाहिए. केद्र सरकार पर दबाव देना चाहिए कि अगली जनगणना और डिलीमिटेशन के पहले आदिवासियों के लिए अलग धार्मिक कोड का प्रावधान करना चाहिए. वरना उसी तरह का राजनीतिक स्टैंड लेना चाहिए जैसा तमिलनाडु में स्टालिन ने लिया है और जिसमें ओडिाशा के निवर्तमान मुख्यमंत्री नवीन पटनायक हिंदी पट्टी के बाहर के राजनेता शामिल हो रहे हैं. केंद्र न माने तो इस मुद्दे को एक जन आंदोलन में बदल देना चाहिए. वरना राजनीतिक रूप से भी उन्हें स्थाई हानि होनेवाली है.
