बरही में महिला थाना का शुभारंभ, अब महिलाओं की समस्याओं का समाधान होगा त्वरित और निर्भीक: एसपी

बरही, 13 अप्रैल 2025 — हजारीबाग जिले के पुलिस अधीक्षक श्री अरविंद कुमार सिंह ने बरही अंचल निरीक्षक भवन परिसर में महिला एवं बाल संरक्षण थाना का विधिवत उद्घाटन किया। इस अवसर पर उन्होंने कहा कि अब महिलाएं बिना किसी झिझक के अपनी समस्याओं को लेकर महिला थाना में आ सकती हैं, जहां उन्हें त्वरित और संवेदनशील न्याय मिलेगा।

महिला पुलिसकर्मियों के सशक्त दल के साथ नई शुरुआत

महिला थाना प्रभारी श्रीमती किरण कच्छप ने अपने महिला पुलिसकर्मियों के साथ पुलिस अधीक्षक को गार्ड ऑफ ऑनर दिया। यह नया थाना अब पूर्व की भांति बरही थाना परिसर में नहीं, बल्कि अलग भवन में संचालित होगा, जहां सभी कर्मी महिलाएं होंगी।

पुलिस अधीक्षक ने कहा, “यह पहल महिला सशक्तिकरण की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम है, जिससे महिलाएं अपनी बात खुलकर रख सकेंगी और उन्हें न्याय पाने में देरी नहीं होगी।”

पुलिस को समझें अपने परिवार का हिस्सा: एसपी

समारोह को संबोधित करते हुए श्री सिंह ने ‘सोशल पुलिसिंग’ की अवधारणा को सरल भाषा में समझाया। उन्होंने कहा, “हम पुलिसवाले भी आपके ही बीच से हैं—भाई, बेटा या भतीजे की तरह। इसलिए हमसे डरें नहीं, बल्कि भरोसा करें। हम गलत के खिलाफ हैं और सही के साथ हमेशा खड़े रहेंगे।”

उनकी बातों से वहां मौजूद महिला-पुरुषों में सकारात्मक ऊर्जा और विश्वास की भावना देखी गई।

उद्घाटन कार्यक्रम में कई प्रशासनिक और सामाजिक प्रतिनिधियों ने भाग लिया। इनमें बरही अंचल निरीक्षक चंद्रशेखर कुमार, थाना प्रभारी आभाष कुमार, सार्जेंट मेजर देवव्रत, रुद्र प्रताप सिंह, शशि उरांव, पदमा थाना प्रभारी भानु प्रताप सिंह, पुलिस अवर निरीक्षक सुमित कुमार साव, नरेंद्र पांडे, और स्थानीय सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता मौजूद रहे।
