रेहू मछली में रोग प्रतिरोधक क्षमता बढ़ाने के दवा का हुआ सफल परीक्षण

विभावि के बायोटेक्नोलॉजी विभाग की शोधार्थी ने झारखंड के पौधों से खोज निकाला दवा

रोहू यह रेहु मछली को जीवन नाशक बीमारी से बचाने हेतु मछली में रोग प्रतिरोधक क्षमता को बढ़ाने संबंधी अचूक दवा विनोबा भावे विश्वविद्यालय के बायोटेक्नोलॉजी विभाग ने खोज निकाला है। इसकी जानकारी देते हुए जंतु विज्ञान विभाग के अध्यक्ष डॉ किशोर कुमार गुप्ता ने मंगलवार को बताया कि रोहू मछली को ‘रुई’ या ‘कारपो’ मछली के नाम से भी जाना जाता है। यह एक मीठे पानी की मछली है जो उत्तर और मध्य भारत में पाई जाती है। यह अपने कई स्वास्थ्य लाभों के लिए जानी जाती है। परंतु कुछ दिनों से तरह-तरह के बीमारी से यह प्रजाति अत्यधिक ग्रसित है।

आज बढ़ते प्रदूषण और मछलियों में रोग ठीक करने के लिए दवाओं के प्रयोग ने इन मछलियों में तरह-तरह की बीमारी को जन्म दिया है।

हरित उत्पादन तकनीक के तहत विनोबा भावे विश्वविधालय के बायो टेक्नोलॉजी विभाग के आकृति गुप्ता ने‌ इन मछलियों को ग्रसित करने वाले रोग के अचूक दवा खोज निकालने का काम किया है।

आकृति ने झारखणड में पाये जाने वाले भेलवा पौधे का पहली बार वैज्ञानिक परिक्षण कर बैक्टीरिया और फफूंद ग्रसित रोहू मछली पर दवा के रूप में प्रयोग किया। पाया गया कि इससे बीमार मछलियों में प्रतिरोधक शक्ति ‌ बढ़ जाती है। उसके प्रतिरोधी जीन भी काफी सक्रिय हो जाती है।

उसने अपना शोध डा पी के मिश्रा और‌ आइआईऐबी, रांची के वैज्ञानिक डा एस के गुप्ता के अन्दर‌ पूरा किया।

बनारस हिन्दू विश्वविद्यालय के‌ प्रो एन के दूबे ने इनकी फाइनल मौखिक प‌रीक्षा ली और आकृति गुप्ता को पी. एचडी. की उपाधि के लिए योग्य घोषित किया।

आकृति के शोध का विषय था “झारखंड के जनजातीय पौधों से रोग प्रतिरोधक दवा बनाकर ‘लेबियो रोहिता’ अर्थात रोहू मछली पर इसका प्रयोग व परीक्षण।”

आकृति गुप्ता ने सीएसआईआर, गेट, आईआईटी जैम ‌की परीक्षा भी उतीर्ण की है। उनके शोध का साइटेशन भी 72 है। उनका अभी तक आठ शोध पत्र और‌‌ चार‌ बुक-चैपटर‌ भी प्रकाशित है। ज्ञात हो कि विश्वविद्यालय के कुलपति प्रोफेसर चंद्र भूषण शर्मा ने आकृति को विश्वविद्यालय के बोर्ड आफ गवर्नेन्स‌ में सदस्य के रूप में नामित किया है।

आकृति डीएवि पब्लिक स्कूल हजारीबाग, अन्नदा महाविद्यालय और‌ बहु प्रतिष्ठित वनस्थली विद्यापीठ की छात्रा रही है।
