पेटरवार–गोमिया मुख्य सड़क में भ्रष्टाचार का आरोप

नई बनी सड़क उखड़ने लगी, अधिकारी नदारद, जनता आक्रोशित

गोमिया। पथ निर्माण विभाग द्वारा पेटरवार–गोमिया मुख्य सड़क के सुदृढ़ीकरण एवं कालीकरण के नाम पर भारी अनियमितता बरतने का गंभीर आरोप स्थानीय ग्रामीणों ने लगाया है। करीब तीन वर्षों से चल रहे इस निर्माण कार्य में गुणवत्ता, पारदर्शिता और जवाबदेही पर बड़े सवाल खड़े हो गए हैं।

ग्रामीणों का कहना है कि सड़क निर्माण कार्य निर्धारित मानकों और प्राक्कलन के विपरीत किया जा रहा है। कालीकरण की मोटाई बेहद कम रखी गई है, जिसके कारण नई बनी सड़क जगह-जगह से उखड़ने लगी है। लोगों का आरोप है कि अगर यही हाल रहा तो कुछ ही महीनों में सड़क फिर से जर्जर हो जाएगी।

स्थानीय लोगों ने विभागीय अधिकारियों और ठेकेदारों की मिलीभगत का आरोप लगाते हुए कहा कि घटिया सामग्री का खुलेआम उपयोग किया जा रहा है। हैरानी की बात यह है कि निर्माण कार्य के दौरान किसी भी जिम्मेदार अधिकारी की मौके पर मौजूदगी नहीं रहती, जिससे निगरानी व्यवस्था पर गंभीर सवाल उठ रहे हैं।

ग्रामीणों का यह भी कहना है कि सड़क सुदृढ़ीकरण का कार्य जानबूझकर धीमी गति से किया जा रहा है, ताकि ठेकेदार को मेंटेनेंस अवधि का लाभ मिल सके। समय सीमा की अनदेखी कर सरकारी धन का दुरुपयोग किया जा रहा है।

मामले की गंभीरता को देखते हुए स्थानीय ग्रामीणों ने गोमिया विधायक एवं राज्य के मंत्री योगेंद्र प्रसाद से उच्चस्तरीय जांच, तकनीकी ऑडिट तथा दोषी अधिकारियों व ठेकेदारों के खिलाफ कड़ी कार्रवाई की मांग की है। ग्रामीणों ने चेतावनी दी है कि यदि शीघ्र कार्रवाई नहीं हुई तो वे आंदोलन के लिए बाध्य होंगे।
