पौष पूर्णिमा के दिन जीवनदायिनी शाकम्भरी देवी की पूजा अवतार दिवस के रूप में मनाने की प्रथा है

गिरिडीह : प्रकृति-पोषण और वनस्पति की देवी माता शाकम्भरी की आराधना जीवनदायिनी देवी के रूप में की जाती है। प्रत्येक वर्ष पौष पूर्णिमा की पावन तिथि माता के भक्त शाकम्भरी अवतार दिवस के रूप में भक्ति-भाव से मनाते हैं।

धार्मिक ग्रंन्थों के अनुसार आदिशक्ति जगदम्बा ने ही पृथ्वी पर पड़े भीषण अकाल और अन्न-जल संकट को दूर कर सृष्टि की रक्षा के लिए शाकम्भरी-शत्ताक्षी अर्थात सौ नैनो वाली देवी के स्वरूप में अवतरित होकर अपने शरीर के विभिन्न अंगों से अन्न, जल, साक-सब्जियां उत्पन्न कर प्राणी मात्र के अस्तित्व को बचाया था। उसके बाद से ही हर साल पौष पूर्णिमा को माता शाकम्भरी का जन्म उत्सव मनाने की प्रथा युगों से चली आ रही है।

देश के कई भागों में कृषक सृष्टि की रक्षक-पोषण की देवी का जन्म उत्सव भरपूर फसल और सुख-समृद्धि के लिए श्रद्धा-भाव से मनाते हैं

दरअसल पौष पूर्णिमा की पावन तिथि देवी शाकम्भरी की धरती पर आगमन प़्राणीमात्र को जीवन प्रदान कर माता के प्रति कृतज्ञता की याद दिलाता है।

 मौर्य काल से जुड़ा है इसका ऐतिहासिक महत्व

शाकम्भरी अवतार से जुड़े ऐतिहासिक अभिलेखों के मुताबिक भारत के विभिन्न भागों में माता के मंदिर शक्तिपीठों के रूप में वंदनीय है, जिसमें प्रमुख रूप से राजस्थान के सीकर जिले के सकराय में स्थित प्राचीन सिद्धपीठ है। जिसका इतिहास मोर्य काल से जुड़ा माना जाता है। जहां चाणक्य और चन्द्रगुप्त ने प्रवास कर माता की आराधना की थी।

दस्तावेजों के मुताबिक साँतवीं शताब्दी में श्रीआदि शंकराचार्य ने मंदिर की स्थापना की। उस दौरान उनका एक आश्रम भी इस क्षेत्र में हुआ करता था। सकराय मंदिर की विशेषता यह है कि मंदिर में ब्राह्मणी और रूद्राणी की प्राचीन प्रतिमाएं स्थित है। अर्थात ब्रम्हाणी ब्रम्हा की रचनात्मक शक्ति और रुद्राणी शिव की परिवर्तनशील शक्ति को दर्शाती माता शाकम्भरी के रूप में श्रृद्धालुओं को शक्ति और सुरक्षा प्रदान करती है।

मान्यता है कि उनके दर्शन मात्र से भक्तों की अनंत मनोवांछित फल की प्राप्ति होती है। हर दिन देश-विदेश से भक्त माता के दरबार में मनोकामना लेकर मत्था टेकते हैं। माता अपने भक्तों को निराश नहीं करती. उनकी खाली झोली में रहमत की वर्षा कर भर देती है। नवरात्रों में सकराय धाम में मेला लगता है। इस दौरान लाखों श्रृद्धालु नवरात्रि मेले के गवाह बन माता का आशीर्वाद लेकर वापस अपने घरों को लौटते हैं।

भक्त महीनों पहले से करते हैं तैयारी

लाखों श्रद्धालु अपनी कुल देवी को साक-सब्जियां फल-फ्रूट, खीर पुड़ी, हलवा और चने की सब्जी का भोग के साथ चुड़ा-चुनड़ी अर्पित कर अक्षय फल का आशीर्वाद मांगते हैं। हाल के दशक में विशेषकर उत्तर-पूर्व भारत के राज्यों में माता शाकम्भरी का जन्म उत्सव काफी धूमधाम और भव्यता से मनाये जाने लगे हैं, जिसकी तैयारी भक्त महीनों पहले से करते हैं।

इस दौरान माता का भव्य श्रृंगार कर दरबार सजाया जाता है। सामूहिक रूप में संगीतमय मंगलपाठ-महाआरती समेत अन्य धार्मिक कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन होता है। जिसमें महिलाएं माता के हाथों को प्रतीक के रूप में मेहन्दी लगाती और स्वयं भी रचाती है। छप्पन भोग, सवामणी प्रसाद अर्पित कर कन्याओं को आदर सत्कार  के साथ भोजन (प्रसाद) कराया जाता है और फिर विभिन्न धर्मों के लोग भी लंगर का प्रसाद ग्रहण करते हैं।
