दुबई में फंसे झारखंड के 14 प्रवासी मजदूरों ने लगाई वतन वापसी की गुहार

गिरिडीह : झारखंड के प्रवासी श्रमिकों को विदेशों फंसने और फिर उत्पीड़न के बाद वतन वापसी के मामले अक्सर सुर्खियों में रहते हैं. ताजा मामला सोमवार को (यूएई) के दुबई का आया है। इस बार भी गिरिडीह, हजारीबाग और बोकारो के 14 प्रवासी मजदूर वहां फंसे हुए हैं। कंपनी के द्वारा मजदूरों के बीच काम के बदले मजदूरी का भुगतान नहीं करने एवं समय से अधिक काम कराये जाने का आरोप है। इससे मजदूरों को वहां रहने एवं खाने-पीने में परेशानियों का सामना करना पड़ रहा है।

सरकार से मदद की अपील

विदेश में फंसे मजदूरों ने एक वीडियो भेजकर अपनी पीड़ा साझा करते हुए सरकार से मदद की अपील की है। प्रवासी मजदूरों के हित में कार्य करने वाले सिकन्दर अली को मजदूरों ने वीडियो भेजा है। मजदूरों के द्वारा भेजे गए वीडियो को उन्होंने मीडिया के साथ साझा किया है। सिकन्दर अली ने केंद्र और राज्य सरकार से मजदूरों के सकुशल वतन वापसी के लिए ठोस कूटनीतिक पहल करने की मांग की है। उन्होंने कहा कि विदेशों में फंसने वाले मजदूरों का यह कोई पहला मामला नहीं है। इससे पहले भी कई बार प्रवासी मजदूर ज्यादा पैसे कमाने के लालच में विदेश जाकर फंस चुके हैं। काफी मशक्कत के बाद उनकी वतन वापसी होती रही है। इसके बावजूद मजदूर पुरानी घटनाओं से सबक नहीं ले रहे हैं।

ट्रांसमिशन लाइन में काम करने दुबई गए थे मजदूर

अभी बीते दिनों जिले के डुमरी थाना क्षेत्र निवासी प्रवासी श्रमिक विजय कुमार महतो की मौत 23 अक्टूबर 2025 को सऊदी अरब में हुई है। घटना के तीन माह बाद भी शव अभी तक देश नहीं लाया जा सका है और न ही परिजनों को मुआवजा मिला है। फंसे मजदूरों में गिरिडीह जिले के सरिया थाना क्षेत्र के रोशन कुमार और अजय कुमार,बगोदर थाना क्षेत्र के राजेश महतो और अजय कुमार, बोकारो के डालेश्वर महतो, हजारीबाग के जागेश्वर महतो और फालेन्द्र महतो,  बैजनाथ महतो, दिलीप महतो, गंगाधर महतो और त्रिलोकी महतो, दीपक कुमार, गोरहर के रोहित महतो और सेवा महतो शामिल हैं। सभी मजदूर पिछले अक्टूबर 2025 को ईएमसी की कंपनी में ट्रांसमिशन लाइन में काम करने के लिए दुबई गए थे, लेकिन पिछले तीन महीने से किसी भी मजदूर को ठीक से वेतन नहीं मिला है। जिसकी वजह से सभी मजदूर खाने के लिए मोहताज हो गए हैं।
