निर्माण मजदूरों के बीच सीटू का व्यापक सदस्यता अभियान, शोषण के खिलाफ संघर्ष तेज करने का आह्वान

असंगठित क्षेत्र के निर्माण मजदूरों को संगठित करने की दिशा में झारखंड राज्य निर्माण कामगार यूनियन (सीटू) ने गोमिया प्रखंड के तुलबुल पंचायत में निर्माण मजदूरों की बस्तियों में जाकर व्यापक सदस्यता अभियान चलाया। अभियान के तहत मजदूरों के बीच बैठक आयोजित कर उनके अधिकारों, समस्याओं और यूनियन की भूमिका पर विस्तार से चर्चा की गई।
बैठक को संबोधित करते हुए यूनियन के बोकारो जिला सचिव राकेश कुमार ने कहा कि निर्माण मजदूर राज्य के सबसे अधिक शोषित तबकों में शामिल हैं। न्यूनतम मजदूरी, समय पर भुगतान, सामाजिक सुरक्षा और काम की गारंटी जैसे बुनियादी अधिकार आज भी इनके लिए संघर्ष का विषय बने हुए हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि पूंजीपतियों और ठेकेदारों के शोषण के खिलाफ मजदूरों को संगठित करना समय की सबसे बड़ी जरूरत है।
राकेश कुमार ने बताया कि यूनियन की राज्य कमेटी ने स्पष्ट निर्णय लिया है कि अब कार्यालयों तक सीमित न रहकर मजदूरों के गांवों और बस्तियों में जाकर उन्हें संगठित किया जाएगा। इसी कड़ी में गोमिया अंचल के सुदूर क्षेत्र तुलबुल पंचायत में यह अभियान चलाया गया, जहां बड़ी संख्या में निर्माण मजदूरों ने सीटू से जुड़ने की इच्छा जताई।
उन्होंने कहा कि आने वाले दिनों में बोकारो जिले के विभिन्न गांवों और बस्तियों में, जहां निर्माण मजदूर निवास करते हैं, इसी तरह सदस्यता अभियान चलाकर यूनियन को मजबूत किया जाएगा।
बैठक में यूनियन के बोकारो जिला कोषाध्यक्ष अजय कुमार, जिला कमेटी सदस्य फूलचंद हेंब्रम के अलावा करण मुंडा, संजय हेंब्रम, उमेश हेंब्रम, लालचंद हेंब्रम, करमचंद हेंब्रम, ढेना मांझी, देवन मांझी, चेतलाल हेंब्रम, महेश हेंब्रम, बिनोद सोरेन, रामनाथ मांझी सहित दर्जनों निर्माण मजदूर शामिल हुए।
बैठक के अंत में मजदूरों ने एकजुट होकर अपने अधिकारों की लड़ाई को तेज करने और सीटू के बैनर तले संगठित संघर्ष को आगे बढ़ाने का संकल्प लिया।
