गोमिया– जिला परिषद मद से जिला परिषद कार्यालय परिसर में सोलर युक्त डीप बोरिंग निर्माण कार्य का शुभारंभ गुरुवार को जिला परिषद अध्यक्ष श्रीमती सुनीता देवी ने नारियल फोड़कर पुजा-अर्चना कर किया।
इस अवसर पर उन्होंने कहा कि डीप बोरिंग बनने से जिला परिषद कार्यालय परिसर में पेयजल की समस्या काफी हद तक दूर होगी। उन्होंने बताया कि जिला परिषद परिसर में जिला प्रशासन एवं जनहित से जुड़े विभिन्न कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन होता रहता है। वर्तमान में यहां बीएसएल के माध्यम से जलापूर्ति की जाती है, लेकिन कई बार तकनीकी खराबी अथवा ब्रेकडाउन के कारण पानी की आपूर्ति बाधित हो जाती है, जिससे लोगों को परेशानी का सामना करना पड़ता है।
जिप अध्यक्ष ने कहा कि गर्मी के मौसम में आम लोगों को पेयजल उपलब्ध कराने के लिए जिला प्रशासन समय-समय पर निर्देश जारी करता है। ऐसे में डीप बोरिंग बनने के बाद जिला परिषद कार्यालय के साथ-साथ परिसर के बाहर भी एक सार्वजनिक नल लगाया जाएगा, ताकि कार्यालय आने वाले लोगों एवं राहगीरों को वर्षभर स्वच्छ पेयजल उपलब्ध हो सके।
उन्होंने कहा कि जनहित को देखते हुए हर सरकारी कार्यालय के बाहर आम लोगों के लिए पेयजल की समुचित व्यवस्था सुनिश्चित की जानी चाहिए, ताकि लोगों को विशेषकर गर्मी के दिनों में स्वच्छ पानी के लिए भटकना न पड़े। उन्होंने इस पहल को जनसुविधा की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम बताया।
