उपेक्षा की मार झेल रहा जारंगडीह परियोजना पदाधिकारी आवास, खंडहर में हो रहा

Gomia-‘जारंगडीह कोलियरी स्थित परियोजना पदाधिकारी का विशाल सरकारी आवास इन दिनों उपेक्षा और रखरखाव के अभाव में बदहाल स्थिति में पहुंच गया है। कभी अधिकारियों की गतिविधियों से गुलजार रहने वाला यह परिसर अब वीरान पड़ा है और धीरे-धीरे खंडहर का रूप लेता जा रहा है।
करीब दो से ढाई वर्ष पूर्व तक इस आवास में तत्कालीन परियोजना पदाधिकारी परमानंद गुईन निवास करते थे। उनके स्थानांतरण के बाद विनोद कुमार ने परियोजना पदाधिकारी का कार्यभार संभाला और वर्तमान में प्रवीण सेन गुप्ता इस पद पर कार्यरत हैं। बावजूद इसके, यह सरकारी आवास लंबे समय से किसी भी अधिकारी को आवंटित नहीं किया गया, जिससे इसकी नियमित देखरेख नहीं हो सकी।
स्थानीय लोगों के अनुसार, कभी सुव्यवस्थित और आकर्षक दिखने वाला यह बंगला अब जर्जर होता जा रहा है। भवन के चारों ओर झाड़ियां उग आई हैं, कमरों में गंदगी पसरी हुई है और कई हिस्सों में टूट-फूट साफ दिखाई देती है। लंबे समय से रखरखाव नहीं होने के कारण भवन की स्थिति लगातार खराब होती जा रही है। लोगों का कहना है कि यदि समय रहते इसकी मरम्मत और संरक्षण नहीं कराया गया, तो यह महत्वपूर्ण सरकारी संपत्ति पूरी तरह क्षतिग्रस्त हो सकती है।
इस संबंध में दूरभाष पर वर्तमान परियोजना पदाधिकारी प्रवीण सेन गुप्ता ने बताया कि आवास परिसर की साफ-सफाई और रखरखाव का कार्य जल्द शुरू कराया जाएगा। उन्होंने कहा कि प्रस्तावित योजना के तहत इस भवन का उपयोग होमगार्ड के बैरक के रूप में किया जाना है। इसके लिए आवश्यक तैयारियां की जा रही हैं और शीघ्र ही परिसर को व्यवस्थित कर उपयोग में लाया जाएगा।
स्थानीय लोगों का मानना है कि यदि इस भवन का शीघ्र उपयोग सुनिश्चित कर दिया जाए तो न केवल करोड़ों रुपये मूल्य की सरकारी संपत्ति सुरक्षित रहेगी, बल्कि क्षेत्र की सुरक्षा व्यवस्था को भी मजबूती मिलेगी।
