गोमिया: पुलिस अधीक्षक नाथू सिंह मीना के निर्देश पर अपराध नियंत्रण एवं असामाजिक तत्वों की गतिविधियों पर नजर रखने के उद्देश्य से सोमवार को कथारा क्षेत्र के असनापानी रोड पर बोकारो थर्मल थाना पुलिस द्वारा सघन एंटी क्राइम वाहन जांच अभियान चलाया गया।
अभियान का नेतृत्व थाना के एसआई गार्दी बानरा ने किया। इस दौरान हवलदार अजय कुमार मंडल सहित अन्य पुलिसकर्मी मौजूद रहे। पुलिस ने मार्ग से गुजरने वाले दोपहिया एवं चारपहिया वाहनों को रोककर उनकी गहन जांच की। अभियान के दौरान वाहनों की डिक्की, सीट के नीचे तथा अन्य संदिग्ध स्थानों की तलाशी ली गई। साथ ही वाहन चालकों के आवश्यक दस्तावेज, हेलमेट के उपयोग तथा यातायात नियमों के पालन की भी जांच की गई।
एसआई गार्दी बानरा ने बताया कि अभियान के दौरान कुल 38 वाहनों की जांच की गई। जांच में सभी वाहन चालकों के दस्तावेज सही पाए गए तथा किसी भी वाहन से कोई संदिग्ध व्यक्ति या आपत्तिजनक सामग्री बरामद नहीं हुई।
उन्होंने कहा कि क्षेत्र में अपराध पर प्रभावी नियंत्रण, असामाजिक तत्वों पर निगरानी तथा आम लोगों में सुरक्षा की भावना मजबूत करने के लिए इस तरह का एंटी क्राइम जांच अभियान लगातार चलाया जा रहा है। उन्होंने स्पष्ट किया कि कानून-व्यवस्था को सुदृढ़ बनाए रखने और अपराधियों पर शिकंजा कसने के लिए भविष्य में भी ऐसे अभियान नियमित रूप से जारी रहेंगे।
