छात्र आंदोलन की धार को कमजोर करने में विफल होने के बाद इस्तीफा हुआ,  सत्ताधीशों ने अंतिम समय तक अपनी कुर्सी और आनेवाले चुनावों को बचाने का गुणा-गणित लगाते रहे

​इस देश की लोकतांत्रिक व्यवस्था की लाचारी देखिए कि जहां युवाओं की रोजगार और निष्पक्ष परीक्षा की आवाज गूंजनी चाहिए थी, वहां सत्ता के शीर्ष रणनीतिकार सिर्फ अपनी कुर्सी और आने वाले चुनावों को बचाने का गुणा-गणित लगा रहे थे।लोकतंत्र में जब फैसले पारदर्शी संस्थाओं की जगह गुप्त बैठकों से तय होने लगे, तो 35 करोड़ का व्यू-काउंट भी नाकामी को नहीं छुपा सकता। 

22 जुलाई की रात 10.30 बजे तक तय था कि केंद्रीय शिक्षा मंत्री प्रधान इस्तीफा नहीं देंगे, क्योंकि उनके पास सत्ता के शीर्ष का समर्थन था। लोकतंत्र का सबसे बड़ा मजाक यही है कि जिस देश का प्रशासन पारदर्शी होने का दावा करता है, वहां करोड़ों युवाओं के भविष्य का फैसला उन बंद कमरों में होता है जिनका न कोई आधिकारिक रजिस्ट्रेशन है और न कोई संवैधानिक वजूद।

जैसे ही आरएसएस के 5 शीर्ष अधिकारियों सरकार्यवाह दत्तात्रेय होसबोले, अरुण कुमार, कृष्ण गोपाल और 2 अन्य नेताओं की प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी, अमित शाह, जेपी नड्डा और जितेंद्र सिंह के साथ एक अज्ञात जगह पर गुप्त बैठक हुई, पूरी स्क्रिप्ट पलट गई। नेपाल में युवाओं के ‘Gen Z’ आंदोलन की तर्ज पर भारत में भड़कते जनाक्रोश से घबराकर रात के अंधेरे में जन-संवाद का नाटक रचा गया।

22 जुलाई की रात इंस्टाग्राम पर डाली गई एक योजनाबद्ध पोस्ट को 35 करोड़ से ज्यादा बार देखा गया ताकि यह संदेश दिया जा सके कि सरकार युवाओं की चिंता में सोई नहीं है, जबकि हकीकत में यह सिर्फ एक राजनीतिक नरेटिव का हिस्सा था।

छात्र आंदोलन में फूट डालने की रणनीति विफल 

​छात्रों और युवाओं के आंदोलन को कुचलने और तोड़ने के लिए एक बहुस्तरीय स्क्रिप्ट तैयार की गई। 23 जुलाई को केंद्रीय मंत्री जेपी नड्डा और जितेंद्र सिंह ने मेदांता अस्पताल पहुंचकर पेपर लीक के खिलाफ 27वें दिन अनशन पर बैठे सोनम वांगचुक को जूस पिलाकर अनशन खत्म करवाया ताकि आंदोलन की धार को कमजोर किया जा सके।  इसके तुरंत बाद आंदोलन में फूट डालने की रणनीति लागू की गई, जिसमें वांगचुक और अन्य प्रदर्शनकारियों के बीच मतभेद पैदा किए गए।

सत्ता समर्थित तंत्र ने इस जन-आंदोलन को खत्म करने के लिए ABVP के करीब 150 कार्यकर्ताओं को 25 जुलाई को प्रयागराज से दिल्ली जंतर-मंतर भेजा ताकि वे आम छात्रों के बीच घुसकर आंदोलन की दिशा को भटका सकें और अंदरूनी कलह पैदा कर सकें।

​जब हर जिले में 500 से अधिक युवा जुटने लगे और विपक्षी दलों की युवा इकाइयां भी मैदान में उतरने लगीं, तब जाकर आरएसएस प्रमुख मोहन भागवत के उस संदेश पर अमल किया गया जिसमें उन्होंने कहा था कि “जेन जी से संवाद करो और उन्हें रास्ते पर लाओ। संघ के स्पष्ट अल्टीमेटम और 27 जुलाई की तय समय-सीमा से 2 दिन पहले ही 25 जुलाई को धर्मेंद्र प्रधान का इस्तीफा ले लिया गया।

विडंबना देखिए कि इस इस्तीफे की खबर तक बीजेपी अध्यक्ष जेपी नड्डा और केंद्रीय मंत्री जितेंद्र सिंह को बाद में मिली, क्योंकि सत्ता का पूरा रिमोट कंट्रोल केवल तीन लोगों और एक संगठन के पास केंद्रित होकर रह गया है।

​यह पूरी घटना साबित करती है कि वर्तमान सत्ता व्यवस्था के लिए करोड़ों युवाओं की मेहनत, परीक्षाएं और उनका भविष्य महज चुनावी आंकड़े और नरेटिव मैनेजमेंट का खेल बनकर रह गया है। जब संवैधानिक संस्थाओं से उठकर फैसले बंद कमरों के राजनीतिक सौदों में होने लगें, तो समझ लेना चाहिए कि लोकतंत्र सिर्फ कागजों पर बचा है।

देश के युवाओं को अब यह तय करना होगा कि वे इस तरह की लिखी हुई स्क्रिप्ट्स का हिस्सा बनते रहेंगे या अपने हक और भविष्य की राह खुद तय करेंगे!

देश के केंद्रीय विभागों और रेलवे में लगभग 10 लाख से अधिक पद खाली पड़े हैं, लेकिन युवाओं को रोजगार देने के बजाय सरकार सिर्फ नरेटिव मैनेजमेंट में व्यस्त है। शिक्षा बजट कुल जीडीपी का 3% भी नहीं पहुँच पा रहा है (जबकि वादा 6% का था)। जब शिक्षा का बजट कटेगा और सरकारी भर्तियाँ लटकाई जाएँगी, तो युवाओं का गुस्सा सड़कों पर फूटेगा ही।
