गांधी, नेहरू और सुभाष को विदेशों में चाहे जितना सम्मान मिलता हो, लेकिन अब यह लग रहा कि नए भारत में इनमें से किसी को सम्मान नहीं दिया जाएगा, ऐसा भारत के विशिष्ट अमृतकाल में तय हो चुका है। जर्सी गाय, कांग्रेस की विधवा और हाइब्रिड बछड़ा कहे जाने को छोड़ भी दिया जाय तो महात्मा गांधी को चतुर बनिया, नेहरू को अय्याश और सुभाष को गद्दार कहे जाने को कैसे बिसराया जाये।
दिलाई होगी आजादी, लेकिन अब उन्हीं को पूजा जाएगा, जिन्होंने भारत छोड़ो आंदोलन को कुचलने और आजाद हिंद फौज के खिलाफ अंग्रेजों की सेना में हिन्दुस्तानियों की भर्ती में महती भूमिका निभाई थी।
गांधी को रावण के रूप में और उनके दस सिरों में सुभाष, सरदार पटेल और नेहरू को दर्शाने की परंपरा तो सावरकर द्वारा वित्तपोषित और गोडसे द्वारा संपादित मैगजीन अग्रणी से ही शुरू हो गई थी।
शुरुआती हिचकिचाहट के बाद अब सुभाष भी नेहरू के बराबर गाली खाने वालों में शुमार हो गए। अभी भाजपा सांसद नागेन्द्र नाथ राय ने नेताजी को वार क्रिमिनल कहा। और भी न जाने क्या-क्या कहा!
राष्ट्रनायकों की स्मृतियां मिटाने की कोशिश
असली विभीषिका दौर तो यही है जब देश के गौरव राष्ट्र नायकों को गालियां दी जा रहीं हैं; उनकी स्मृतियों को मिटाया जा रहा है। क्या पता लोकमानस से स्वतंत्रता आंदोलन के नायकों की स्मृति को मिटाना ही इनके सांस्कृतिक वैभव के स्थापन का सर्वोच्च लक्ष्य हो।
गांधी जी का सर्व सेवा संघ बनारस में सड़क पर आ ही गया था। मनरेगा के जरिए ही सही कहीं गांधी की स्मृति लोक मानस में बची न रह जाय, यह कैसे स्वीकार होगा, एक विचारधारा विशेष को, सो हटा दिया मनरेगा से नाम!
लेनिन की मूर्ति ही नहीं बल्कि महापंडित राहुल सांकृत्यायन और सुदामा पांडे धूमिल की मूर्तियां भी तोड़ी गईं इस दौर में। “लोकदेव नेहरू” लिखने वाले दिनकर और सांप्रदायिकता के विरुद्ध लेखन के पर्याय रहे प्रेमचंद इस सद्गति से बच जाएं तो बड़ी बात है। यह विभीषिका का एक नया रूप है।
गालियां देकर नया इतिहास नहीं लिख पाएंगे
अब ऐतिहासिक अवदान देने वालों की मूर्तियां तोड़कर, उन्हें गालियां देकर नया इतिहास लिखा जाएगा। पटेल के नाम का स्टेडियम तो पहले ही मोदी जी के नाम पर हो गया था। अब और क्या चाहिए? लेकिन नहीं अभी सुभाष जी शेष हैं। अब उनकी अशेष कीर्ति को मिटाने का काम शेष है !
उन्हें नहीं पता है कि कुछ ख़्वाब हमेशा ख़्वाब ही रहते हैं। ख़ैर नादान लोगों ने उनके नाम से जानी जाने वाली सड़क को श्यामा प्रसाद मुखर्जी के नाम कर दिया। यह रामपुरहाट,बीरभूम, बंगाल की एक सड़क है जो अब श्यामा प्रसाद मुखर्जी के नाम से जानी जाएगी। नया इतिहास ऐसे बनाया जाएगा।
ये वही मुखर्जी हैं जो भारत छोड़ो आंदोलन को कुचलने के लिए अंग्रेज गवर्नर को मुस्लिम लीग की सरकार में मंत्री की हैसियत से पत्र लिख रहे थे।
यह तो सब हुआ ही। इतने से भी जब जी न भरा तो सुभाष जी की मूर्ति का हाथ तोड़ दिया गया। ये लोग सुभाष की विदेशी पत्नी का भी मजाक उड़ाते हैं, उसी तरह जैसे सोनिया का उड़ाया जाता है।
सुभाष बाबू इस देश के आम लोगों का चरित्र बखूबी जानते थे, इसीलिए वे अपनी मृत्यु के बाद अपनी पत्नी को भारत न आने की सलाह देते थे। वे जानते थे कि यहाँ के लोग विधवाओं को कितना सम्मान देते हैं। कांग्रेस की विधवा उसी मनोवृत्ति का प्रतीक है।
इन हरकतों के बाद भी अगर भाषाई मर्यादा बची रहे तो यह संतोषी वृत्ति का चरम ही कहा जाएगा।
इसलिए जब आज इस हद तक बोलने वाले जब भाषा की मर्यादा सिखाते हैं, तो ऐसे पाखंडियों पर दया आती है।
जो अपने पुरखों को सम्मान नहीं दे सकते, वे किसी सम्मान के पात्र नहीं। हैं तो घृणा के लायक पर दया ही आती है। ये सिर्फ़ दया के पात्र हैं।

यह विडंबना देखिए कि इटली की एक बेटी जो बाकायदा भारतीय संस्कारों को पूरा कर बहू बनी और आज भी हमारी भारतीय संस्कृति को पूरी निष्ठा और पवित्रता से निभा रही है, वो इनको कांग्रेस की विधवा दिखती है और दूसरी जो जोकर के साथ हंस रही थी उसका सम्मान बचाने, बहन को रखैल बना कर रखने वाले बेशर्म लोग सम्मान की बात कर रहे हैं.
