गुमला: आज शनिवार को उपायुक्त कर्ण सत्यार्थी की अध्यक्षता में स्वास्थ्य विभाग के साथ फाइलेरिया मुक्त अभियान के संबंध में एक विशेष बैठक का आयोजन किया गया। एमवीडी सलाहकार शर्मिला शर्मा ने जिले में पिछले एक माह से चलाए गए फाइलेरिया मुक्त अभियान के तहत दवा वितरण कार्यक्रम से संबंधित रिपोर्ट से उपायुक्त को अवगत कराया। उन्होंने बताया कि फाइलेरिया मुक्त अभियान को 29 फरवरी तक चलाया गया एवं उक्त अभियान के तहत टोटल पॉपुलेशन के तहत निर्धारित लक्ष्य के विरुद्ध कुल 76.51 प्रतिशत लोगों को दवाई खिलाई गई वहीं टार्गेटेड पॉपुलेशन के तहत कुल 88.02 प्रतिशत लोगों को फाइलेरिया मुक्ति की दवाई दी गई है।
सिविल सर्जन गुमला राजू कच्छप ने जानकारी दी कि उक्त अभियान के तहत गुमला जिला ने राज्य भर में प्रथम स्थान हासिल किया, टीम वर्क एवं सभी विभागों के आपसी समन्वय ने इस अभियान को सफल रूप दिया। वे बताते हैं कि इस अभियान के तहत सभी नागरिकों को स्वाथ्य कर्मियों के द्वारा सामने खड़े होकर दवाई खिलाई गई है, एवं दवा खिलाने के पश्चात रैपर को जमा भी लिया गया है ताकि यह आश्वस्त किया जा सके की सभी ने दवाई खाई है।
उपायुक्त ने जिले के उपलब्धि के लिए पूरे टीम को बधाई दी एवं संबंधित विभागों के बेहतरीन आपसी समन्वय के प्रति उन्होंने ने हर्ष प्रकट किया। साथ ही उपायुक्त ने इस अभियान के सफल संचालन हेतु एमवीडी सलाहकार एवं अन्य संबंधित अधिकारियों को जिला स्तर पर पुरस्कृत किए जाने की भी बात कही। उन्होंने कहा कि आगे भी सभी अधिकारी आपसी समन्वय से काम करें एवं बचे हुए नागरिकों को भी फाइलेरिया की दवाई खिलाएं। उन्होंने 10वीं एवं 12वीं के छुटे हुए विद्यार्थियों को भी दवाई खिलाने का निर्देश दिया।
इस दौरान बैठक में मुख्य रूप से सिविल सर्जन, एसीएमओ,जिला समाज कल्याण पदाधिकारी, डीपीएम JSLPS, सहित अन्य संबंधित पदाधिकारी एवं कर्मी उपस्थित रहें।
