बाबा टांगीनाथ, जहां है साक्षात भोलेनाथ का निवास

गुमला / डुमरी :- टांगीनाथ धाम मंदिर को लेकर कई दिलचस्प कथाएं कही जाती हैं. और मान्यतायह भी हैं कि यहां खुद भगवान शिव निवास करते हैं.. झारखंड के गुमला जिले में भगवान परशुराम का तप स्थल है. यह जगह रांची से करीब 150 किमी दूर है. पौराणिक कथाओं के अनुसार, भगवान परशुराम ने यहां शिव की घोर उपासना की थी. यहीं उन्होंने अपने परशु यानी फरसे को जमीन में गाड़ दिया था.इस फरसे की ऊपरी आकृति कुछ त्रिशूल से मिलती-जुलती है. यही वजह है कि यहां श्रद्धालु इस फरसे की पूजा करते हैं। वहीं शिव शंकर के इस मंदिर को टांगीनाथ धाम के नाम से जाना जाता है. कहा जाता है कि यहां भोलेनाथ निवास करते हैं।टांगीनाथ धाम एक ऐसा स्थान है जो प्राचीन युग से लेकर मध्यकालीन युग तक कई वास्तुशिल्प कार्यों को अपने में समेटे हुए है। यह छिपा हुआ नहीं है बल्कि भारतीय पुरातत्व समाज की नजरों से वंचित नजर आता है। यह पुरातत्व महत्व का एक महत्वपूर्ण स्थान है और इसे शोध के विषय में लाया जाना चाहिए। यह शिवस्थली के नाम से प्रसिद्ध है और जंगरोधी लोहे के विशाल त्रिशूल के लिए प्रसिद्ध है। टांगीनाथ गुमला जिले के डुमरी ब्लॉक में स्थित है। यह गुमला मुख्यालय से लगभग 50 किमी और डुमरी से 8 किमी दूर है. डुमरी और टांगीनाथ के बीच कई झरने और नाले हैं जो बरसात के मौसम में पानी से भरे रहते हैं। टांगीनाथ लगभग 300 फीट ऊंची पहाड़ी पर स्थित है। महाशिवरात्रि के दौरान गुमला से टांगीनाथ तक कई बसें चलती हैं। यह धार्मिक और ऐतिहासिक महत्व का स्थान है। छोटानागपुर के नागवंशी राजाओं, सरगुजा के रुक्सेलवंशी राजाओं और बारवे साम्राज्य का इतिहास यहाँ लिखा गया है। यह लगभग 10000 वर्ग मीटर के क्षेत्र में फैला हुआ है। भगवान विष्णु, सूर्य, लक्ष्मी, भवानी और अनगिनत अन्य देवताओं की पत्थर की मूर्तियाँ खुले में पड़ी हैं। सैकड़ों शिवलिंग यहाँ और वहाँ रखे गए हैं। कुछ छवियां अभी भी अज्ञात हैं। कुछ लोग मानते हैं कि वे भगवान बुद्ध हैं। भगवान शिव का मुख्य मंदिर, जमीन में गड़ा हुआ विशाल त्रिशूल, सूर्य मंदिर, सूर्य कुंड बहुत आकर्षण के केंद्र हैं। यहां कई शिवलिंग रखे हुए हैं। भगवान बुद्ध के काल का माना जाता है।झारखंड के इस बियावान और जंगली इलाके में शिवरात्रि के अलावा भी श्रद्धालु टांगीनाथ धाम दर्शन के लिए आते हैं. यहां स्थ‍ित एक मंदिर में भोलेनाथ शाश्वत रूप में हैं. स्थानीय बैगा ही यहां के पुजारी है और इनका कहना है कि यह मंदिर अत्यंत प्राचीन है.भगवान परशुराम का फरसा टांगीनाथ धाम में हजारों वर्षों से गड़ा हुआ है, किंतु आज तक इसमें जंग नहीं लगी. जो अपने आप में आश्चर्य की बात है।ऐसा नहीं है कि इस फरसे के साथ कभी कोई छेड़खानी नहीं हुई. एक बार इस क्षेत्र में रहने वाली लोहार जाति के लोगों ने इस फरसे को काटकर लोहा प्राप्त करने की कोशिश की थी. किंतु वे सफल नहीं हो पाए थे उसके कुछ वर्षों में ही उस समुदाय के लोगों की अकाल मृत्यु होने लगी. जिसे परशुराम के फरसे को काटने के दुस्साहस का परिणाम माना गया. उस घटना के बाद लोहार जाति के लोग वह क्षेत्र छोड़कर अन्यत्र चले गए. आज भी टांगीनाथ धाम के 24 किलोमीटर परिधि मने लोहार जाति के लोग वास नहीं करते हैं। स्थानीय आदिवासी बैगा और पाहन यहाँ के पुजारी है. इन प्राचीन और ऐतिहासिक मंदिर में झारखण्ड और निकट के राज्य छत्तीसगढ़, बिहार आदि से श्रद्धालु दर्शन हेतु आते हैं.मुख्यतः सावन के महीने और महाशिवरात्रि के अवसर पर यहाँ भक्तों और श्रद्धालुओं का जमवाड़ा लगता है. महाशिवरात्रि के समय यहाँ 3 दिनों के मेले का आयोजन होता है।
