गांडेय उपचुनाव: भाजपा ने सबको दरकिनार कर कल्पना के मुकाबले दिलीप कुमार वर्मा पर लगाया दांंव 

गिरिडीह : झारखंड के गिरिडीह जिले में गांडेय विधानसभा उपचुनाव के लिए भारतीय जनता पार्टी ने शुक्रवार को प्रत्याशी की घोषणा कर दी है। गाण्डेय विस सीट से कई कद्दावर नेता समेत लगभग आधे दर्जन भाजपाई टिकट की रेस में शामिल थे, लेकिन पार्टी ने सभी को दरकिनार कर दिलीप कुमार वर्मा पर भरोसा जताते हुए अपना प्रत्याशी बनाया है। भाजपा के राष्ट्रीय महासचिव व मुख्यालय प्रभारी अरुण सिंह के हस्ताक्षर से शुक्रवार को ये अधिसूचना जारी की गयी है। भाजपा के प्रदेश संगठन के मंत्री दिलीप वर्मा प्रदेश प्रमुख बाबूलाल मंराडी के करीबी माने जाते हैं। श्री मरांडी की पार्टी झारखंड विकास मोर्चा के टिकट पर दिलीप वर्मा 2019 में गाण्डेय से चुनाव लड़ चुके हैं. चुनाव में उन्हें करारी हार मिली थी। दिलीप वर्मा महज 8,952 वोट लाकर छठे स्थान पर रहे थे। वे अपनी जमानत तक नहीं बचा पाये थे। दिलीप वर्मा कोडरमा संसदीय क्षेत्र से कई बार सांसद रहे स्व. रीतलाल वर्मा भतीजे और गांडेय के पूर्व भाजपा विधायक सह झामुमो नेता प्रो. जयप्रकाश वर्मा के अपने भांजे हैं।

शुरू में तो भाजपा ने उपचुनाव का विरोध किया था

गौरतलब है कि इसी वर्ष जनवरी में झमुमो के विधायक रहे डॉ. सरफराज अहमद के इस्तीफे के बाद से ये विधानसभा सीट खाली हुई थी। डा. अहमद अब राज्यसभा सांसद है। जेएमएम ने पहले ही पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री हेमंत सोरेन की पत्नी कल्पना सोरेन को इस सीट से चुनाव लड़ाने फैसला कर चुका है. श्रीमती कल्पना सोरेन ने पिछले दिनों दो दिवसीय गाण्डेय विस क्षेत्र के दौरे के क्रम में अपना चुनाव अभियान भी शुरू कर दिया है। झामुमो के डॉ. सरफराज अहमद ने 31 दिसंबर 2023 को विधायक पद से इस्तीफा दे दिया था। विधानसभा अध्यक्ष रवींद्रनाथ महतो ने तुरंत उनका इस्तीफा मंजूर भी कर लिया था। हालांकि शुरुआत भाजपा ने इस सीट पर उपचुनाव का विरोध किया था। भाजपा प्रतिनिधिमंडल में बाकायदा, झारखंड के मुख्य निर्वाचन पदाधिकारी और राज्यपाल से मिलकर कहा था कि चूंकि, झारखंड की मौजूदा विधानसभा के कार्यकाल में 1 साल से कम वक्त बचा है, इसलिए गांडेय में उपचुनाव नहीं हो सकता।

सरकार में अगर सबकुछ ठीकठाक रहता तो, उपचुनाव की नौबत ही नहीं आती  

बता दें कि गांडेय विधानसभा सीट पर 2019 में झामुमो के डॉ. सरफराज अहमद ने जीत हासिल की थी। 31 दिसंबर 2023 को अपरिहार्य कारण बताते हुए उन्होंने विधायक पद से इस्तीफा दे दिया था। तब यह कहा गया कि डॉ. सरफराज ने पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री हेमंत सोरेन की पत्नी कल्पना मुर्मू सोरेन के लिए यह सीट खाली की है। दरअसल, पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री हेमंत सोरेन को ईडी ने जमीन घोटाले के मामले में लगातार समन कर रही थी। उन्हें 8 समन भेजा जा चुका था। उस समय झारखंड में उस वक्त सियासी माहौल गरमा गया था. ईडी के बढ़ते दबाव के कारण ही यह लगने लगा था कि हेमंत सोरेन ने कल्पना सोरेन को अपना उत्तराधिकारी घोषित कर उन्हें मुख्यमंत्री पद की शपथ दिलवा सकते हैं। इसी कारण 31 दिसंबर को डॉ. सरफराज ने इस्तीफा दिलवा गया और उधर, 31 जनवरी को हेमंत सोरेन को ईडी ने हिरासत में लिया। हालांकि झामुमो में उभरते विद्रोह को दबाने के लिए आनन-फानन में चंपई सोरेन को झारखंड की बागडोर सौंपी गई. अगर सरकार में सबकुछ ठीकठाक रहता तो गांडेय में उपचुनाव की नौबत ही नहीं आती.
