धनबाद मंडल में बड़े पैमाना पर टिकट चेकिंग अभियान चलाया जा रहा है | इसी क्रम में दिनांक 15.06.24 को धनबाद- चन्द्रपुरा- कोडरमा खण्ड में मजिस्ट्रेट महोदय की उपस्थिति में टिकट चेकिंग एवं मंडल के विभिन्न खण्डों में विशेष टिकट चेकिंग के साथ-साथ धनबाद, गोमो, कोडरमा, डाल्टनगंज, चोपन, बरकाकाना, सिंगरौली स्टेशनों में भी गहन टिकट चेकिंग की गई |
इस जांच अभियान में कुल 1534 यात्रियों को पकड़ा गया जिसमें बिना टिकट यात्रा कर रहे यात्री, बिना उचित प्राधिकार के यात्रा करने वाले यात्री, बिना बुक किये गए सामान के साथ यात्रा कर रहे यात्रीगण शामिल थे | इस दौरान उनसे 07 लाख 77 हज़ार 620 रूपए जुर्माने के रूप में राशि प्राप्त की गई व कड़ी हिदायत दी गई | चेकिंग अभियान में 172 टिकट चेकिंग कर्मियों को लगाया गया था |
चेकिंग टीमों द्वारा स्टेशनों एवं विभिन्न मेल/एक्स्प्रेस ट्रेनों में भी चेकिंग किया गया | इस अभियान का उद्देश्य बिना टिकट यात्रा करने वाले यात्रियों पर अंकुश लगाना है ताकि वे अगली बार टिकट लेकर यात्रा करें एवं उचित टिकट लेकर यात्रा करने वाले यात्रियों को बिना टिकट यात्रा करने वाले यात्रियों के कारण किसी तरह की परेशानी का सामना न करना पड़े।
