गुमला में 19 से 26 जून तक मादक पदार्थों के विरुद्ध विशेष जागरूकता अभियान

गुमला: जिले के नागरिकों को नशीले पदार्थों के सेवन से बचाने और जागरूक करने के उद्देश्य से गुमला जिला प्रशासन ने 19 जून से 26 जून 2024 तक विशेष जागरूकता अभियान आयोजित करने की घोषणा की है। बुधवार को जिला समाज कल्याण विभाग और जिला सूचना एवं जन संपर्क विभाग के सहयोग से उपायुक्त कर्ण सत्यार्थी ने इस अभियान की शुरुआत जागरूकता रथ को हरी झंडी दिखाकर की।

उपायुक्त ने की अपील

उपायुक्त कर्ण सत्यार्थी ने कहा, “मादक पदार्थों का दुरुपयोग समाज में विकराल रूप ले रहा है और यह समाज के लिए हानिकारक है। इसके बढ़ते दुरुपयोग को कम करने के लिए तस्करों और उपयोगकर्ताओं के विरुद्ध कानूनी कार्रवाई के साथ-साथ समाज, विशेष रूप से किशोरों और युवाओं को इसके दुष्प्रभाव के प्रति जागरूक करना अत्यंत आवश्यक है।”

जागरूकता रथ और अभियान की जानकारी

अगले सात दिनों तक जागरूकता रथ विभिन्न प्रखंडों में भ्रमण करेगा। इस दौरान नुक्कड़ नाटक, गोष्ठी और वर्कशॉप जैसी गतिविधियों के माध्यम से लोगों को जागरूक किया जाएगा। राज्य सरकार के निर्देशानुसार यह अभियान जिले में विशेष जागरूकता कार्यक्रम के रूप में संचालित किया जाएगा।

अवैध मादक पदार्थों की बिक्री अपराध

उपायुक्त ने बताया कि 18 वर्ष से कम आयु के लोगों को मादक पदार्थ बेचना, शिक्षण संस्थानों के 100 मीटर के क्षेत्रफल में मादक पदार्थ बेचना, मादक पदार्थों की गैरकानूनी खेती, उत्पादन, भंडारण, बिक्री और परिवहन दंडनीय अपराध है। इन अपराधों में कठोर सजा का प्रावधान है, जिसमें 20 साल तक की सजा और दो लाख रुपये या अधिक का जुर्माना शामिल है। कुछ मामलों में मृत्युदंड भी दिया जा सकता है।

नशा छुड़ाने के लिए संपर्क करें

यदि कोई व्यक्ति स्वयं या उनके परिवार के सदस्य नशे की चपेट से मुक्ति पाना चाहते हैं, तो वे रिनपास रांची, केंद्रीय मनोचिकित्सा संस्था रांची, अखिल भारतीय आयुर्विज्ञान संस्थान देवघर, जिला अस्पताल के आईसीटीसी/एआरटीसी परामर्श केंद्र से संपर्क कर सकते हैं।

सूचना देने के लिए टोल फ्री नंबर

जिला प्रशासन ने अपील की है कि यदि किसी को अवैध मादक पदार्थों की बिक्री, अफीम की खेती आदि की जानकारी हो तो वह टोल फ्री नंबर 112 पर सूचना दे सकते हैं। प्रशासन द्वारा त्वरित कार्रवाई की जाएगी और सूचना देने वाले की पहचान गुप्त रखी जाएगी।

इस अभियान में परियोजना निदेशक आईटीडीए, एसडीओ सदर, एसडीओ चैनपुर, एसडीओ बसिया, जिला समाज कल्याण पदाधिकारी, प्रभारी जिला सूचना एवं जन संपर्क पदाधिकारी सहित जिले के विभिन्न विभागों के वरीय पदाधिकारी और विभिन्न प्रखंडों के प्रखंड विकास पदाधिकारी और अंचल अधिकारी मौजूद थे।
