गुमला : – गुमला जिले में सौर ऊर्जा को बढ़ावा देते हुए सुदूरवर्ती और विशेष पिछड़ी जनजातीय (PVTG) ग्रामों में सोलर स्ट्रीट लाइट लगाने का कार्य तेजी से प्रगति पर है। गुमला उपायुक्त कर्ण सत्यार्थी के नेतृत्व में इस पहल का उद्देश्य जिले के हर कोने को रोशनी से आच्छादित करना और नागरिकों के जीवन में सुधार लाना है।
अब तक विभिन्न PVTG ग्रामों अंतर्गत 700 से अधिक स्थानों में सोलर लाइट का अधिष्ठापन पूरा
कल्याण विभाग द्वारा जिले के विभिन्न PVTG ग्रामों और अन्य सुदूरवर्ती क्षेत्रों में लगभग 700 से अधिक स्थानों में अब तक सोलर स्ट्रीट लाइट्स लगाई जा चुकी हैं। शेष क्षेत्रों में भी तेजी से कार्य किया जा रहा है। कल्याण विभाग द्वारा वर्तमान योजना के तहत प्रथम चरण में गुमला जिले के 387 ग्रामों में 2015 स्थानों पर सोलर स्ट्रीट लाइट का अधिष्ठापन किया जा रहा है।
ग्रामीण और शहरी क्षेत्रों में भी रोशनी का विस्तार
उपायुक्त के निर्देश पर जिला योजना विभाग के द्वारा भी शहरी और ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों के मुख्य चौक-चौराहों सहित लगभग 1200 से अधिक स्थानों पर सोलर स्ट्रीट लाइट लगाने की प्रक्रिया शुरू हो चुकी है।

विशुनपुर: 295 स्थान
घाघरा: 315 स्थान
सिसई: 260 स्थान
भरनो: 235 स्थान
कामडारा: 195 स्थान
बसिया: 150 स्थान
गुमला: 285 स्थान
जन सहभागिता से चयनित हो रहे स्थान
उपायुक्त कर्ण सत्यार्थी के द्वारा जिले के नागरिकों और जनप्रतिनिधियों से अपने क्षेत्रों में सोलर स्ट्रीट लाइट लगाने के लिए स्थान सुझाने का आग्रह किया था। प्राप्त आवेदनों के आधार पर चयनित स्थानों पर प्राथमिकता के साथ सोलर लाइट्स लगाई जा रही हैं।
अगले चरण की तैयारी जारी
उपायुक्त ने बताया कि प्रथम चरण में 3000 स्थानों पर सोलर स्ट्रीट लाइट लगाई जाएंगी। शेष आवेदनों पर विचार करते हुए अगले चरण में अन्य स्थानों पर अधिष्ठापन कार्य किया जाएगा।
यह पहल जिले के सुदूर क्षेत्रों को सौर ऊर्जा से रोशन करने और सुरक्षा, शिक्षा तथा सामुदायिक गतिविधियों को बढ़ावा देने में मील का पत्थर साबित होगी।
