विश्व के समक्ष भारत की खोई हुई प्रतिष्ठा को पुनर्स्थापित करने वाले युवा सन्यासी
स्वामी विवेकानंद के जन्म जयंती के अवसर पर 12 जनवरी के शाम स्थानीय केशव हाल में एक समारोह का आयोजन किया गया है। समारोह का आयोजन जागृति बंगाली महिला संघ, यूनियन क्लब एवं लाइब्रेरी तथा बंगाली एसोसीएशन के संयुक्त तत्वाधान में किया गया।
कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ स्वामी विवेकानंद के चित्र पर पुष्पार्पण के साथ किया गया। इसके बाद “भवसागर तारण कारण हे” गीत को श्रीमती डोला गुहा, श्रीमती मधुच्छनदा मुखर्जी, श्रीमती बोनिता दे, श्रीमती सोमा सेन, श्रीमती सोनाली भट्टाचार्य तथा श्रीमती सुपर्णा सरकार ने संयुक्त रूप से गया। इसके बाद श्रीमती सोमा सेन के द्वारा एकल गायन प्रस्तुत की गई। तत्पश्चात स्वामी विवेकानंद के एक बहुत ही पसंदीदा गीत पर श्रीमती पायल मुखर्जी के नृत्य ने सबको मंत्र मुग्ध कर दिया।
विवेकानंद के जीवन तथा दर्शन पर अपना विचार रखते हुए प्रोफेसर सजल मुखर्जी ने बताया कि स्वामी जी ने भय को सबसे बड़ा पाप माना। उन्होंने शिकागो में दिए गए स्वामी जी के ऐतिहासिक संबोधन के पंक्तियां को दोहराया। प्रोफेसर मुखर्जी ने बताया कि किस प्रकार स्वामी जी मे हिंदू धर्म के धर्मनिरपेक्षता के सूत्र अंतर्निहित रहे।
इसके बाद श्रीमती मधुच्छनदा मुखर्जी के एकल गायन ने माहौल को भक्तिमय बना दिया। श्रीमती वर्षा दे ने स्वामी जी के बताए हुए साधना पद्धति को समझाते हुए सबको कुछ समय ध्यान करवाया।
इसके बाद श्रीमती सरिता मोइत्रा तथा सुश्री सूचेतना मोइत्रा की मां-बेटी की जोड़ी ने स्वामी जी के एक अत्यंत लोकप्रिय गीत पर नृत्य प्रस्तुत कर सबका दिल जीत लिया। अंतिम प्रस्तुति के माध्यम से सुश्री शुभोश्री ने एक खूबसूरत नृत्य की प्रस्तुति दी।
कार्यक्रम का संचालन बंगाली एसोसिएशन के अध्यक्ष डॉ सुकल्याण मोइत्रा ने किया। इस अवसर पर बंगाली समाज के लोग तथा कुछ अतिथिगण अच्छी संख्या में उपस्थित हुए।
