गुमला, 19 मई 2025 | झारखंड के गुमला जिले में रविवार को तेज आंधी-तूफान और वज्रपात के दौरान दो अलग-अलग घटनाओं में एक किशोरी गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गई, जबकि एक अन्य स्थान पर पेड़ में आग लगने से अफरा-तफरी मच गई। संयोगवश बारिश ने बड़ी अनहोनी टाल दी।
घाघरा थाना क्षेत्र के बाबूराम तुर्री की 13 वर्षीय पुत्री प्रिया कुमारी, रविवार की दोपहर लगभग 4:30 बजे मवेशी चरा रही थी। अचानक मौसम बिगड़ने लगा और तेज बारिश के साथ वज्रपात शुरू हो गया। खुद को सुरक्षित रखने के लिए प्रिया पास के करंज पेड़ के नीचे जा छिपी, जहां अचानक वज्रपात हो गया। बिजली की सीधी चपेट में आने से वह बेहोश होकर गिर पड़ी और झुलस गई।
परिजनों ने तुरंत उसे घाघरा उप स्वास्थ्य केंद्र पहुंचाया, जहां प्राथमिक इलाज के बाद उसे बेहतर उपचार के लिए गुमला सदर अस्पताल रेफर किया गया। डॉक्टरों के अनुसार, प्रिया की हालत स्थिर है और इलाज जारी है।
इसी दिन, कामडारा थाना क्षेत्र के अरहरा गांव में एक फुटकल पेड़ पर रखे पुवालगांज (भूसे के ढेर) में वज्रपात के कारण आग लग गई। आग ने तेजी से विकराल रूप लेना शुरू किया, लेकिन तेज मूसलाधार बारिश के चलते आग स्वतः बुझ गई और बड़ा हादसा टल गया।
गौरतलब है कि गुमला जिले में हर साल वज्रपात से कई लोगों और मवेशियों की मौत होती है। वर्षों पूर्व ग्रामीण इलाकों के स्कूलों और पंचायत भवनों में वज्रपात से सुरक्षा के लिए तड़ित चालक यंत्र लगाए गए थे। साथ ही सूचना प्रसारण के लिए टीवी सेट भी वितरित किए गए थे। स्थानीय लोगों का कहना है कि ये उपकरण या तो चोरी हो गए या रहस्यमय तरीके से लापता हैं, लेकिन आज तक कोई जांच नहीं हुई।
विशेषज्ञों का मानना है कि पेड़ के नीचे शरण लेना वज्रपात के समय बेहद खतरनाक हो सकता है। जिले में ऐसे हादसों की पुनरावृत्ति से यह स्पष्ट है कि जनजागरूकता और सुरक्षा उपायों की सख्त जरूरत है।
