गुमला जिला में 23 मई 2025 को जिले के विभिन्न पंचायतों में आयोजित एक दिवसीय समर कैंपों ने बच्चों के लिए गर्मी की छुट्टियों को रचनात्मक, शैक्षिक और जागरूकता से परिपूर्ण बना दिया। इन शिविरों का आयोजन पिरामल फाउंडेशन के सहयोग से किया गया, जिसमें ग्राम पंचायतों, विद्यालयों, जिला एवं प्रखंड प्रशासन का सक्रिय सहयोग प्राप्त हुआ। समर कैंपों का उद्देश्य न केवल बच्चों के सर्वांगीण विकास को बढ़ावा देना था, बल्कि उन्हें फाइलेरिया उन्मूलन जैसे महत्वपूर्ण स्वास्थ्य विषयों पर भी संवेदनशील बनाना था।
तेलगांव पंचायत के राजकीयकृत प्राथमिक विद्यालय, गडसरू में आयोजित कैंप में 47 बच्चों ने भाग लिया। कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत बाल गीतों से हुई, इसके उपरांत चित्रकला प्रतियोगिता, शैक्षिक खेल और मनोरंजनात्मक गतिविधियाँ कराई गईं। मुखिया विनोद उरांव एवं विद्यालय शिक्षकों की उपस्थिति में बच्चों को फाइलेरिया रोग की रोकथाम, लक्षण और उपचार के विषय में सरल भाषा में जानकारी दी गई।
सिकोई पंचायत के सरकारी नवनिर्मित प्राथमिक विद्यालय, सिपरिंगा में भी समर कैंप का आयोजन हुआ, जिसमें बच्चों ने उत्साहपूर्वक ड्राइंग प्रतियोगिता और खेलकूद में भाग लिया। इस अवसर पर भी फाइलेरिया उन्मूलन पर जागरूकता सत्र आयोजित कर बच्चों को स्वच्छता एवं सावधानी के महत्व को बताया गया।
कुरूछतरपूर पंचायत के GUMS केराडीह विद्यालय में मुखिया चुयां कुजूर, शिक्षकों व पिरामल टीम की उपस्थिति में समर कैंप का आयोजन हुआ। 32 से अधिक छात्र-छात्राएं एवं अभिभावकों ने सहभागिता की। बच्चों को बाल गीतों व शैक्षिक गतिविधियों के साथ-साथ फाइलेरिया से बचाव के उपायों पर भी जानकारी दी गई।
शीलम पंचायत के लोदाम कोठाटोली विद्यालय में 184 बच्चों के बीच समर कैंप का आयोजन हुआ। बाल गीत, चेतना गीत, चित्रकला, संख्या एवं अक्षर ज्ञान जैसी गतिविधियों के साथ-साथ बच्चों को फाइलेरिया से संबंधित सावधानियों एवं नियमित दवा सेवन की उपयोगिता समझाई गई।
वहीं मझगांव पंचायत के उत्क्रमित मध्य विद्यालय, मझगांव में भी समर कैंप के दौरान सीआरपी बीरेंद्र कुजूर की उपस्थिति में फाइलेरिया उन्मूलन पर चर्चा हुई। बच्चों ने ड्राइंग व खेलकूद के माध्यम से सहभागिता निभाई और स्वास्थ्य संबंधी जानकारियाँ ग्रहण कीं।
इन सभी समर कैंपों ने बच्चों को एक ऐसा मंच प्रदान किया जहाँ उन्होंने न केवल रचनात्मकता व सहभागिता सीखी, बल्कि फाइलेरिया जैसी बीमारी से बचाव के प्रति जागरूकता भी हासिल की। इन आयोजनों की सफलता में पिरामल फाउंडेशन, ग्राम पंचायत प्रतिनिधियों, विद्यालयों, तथा स्थानीय प्रशासन का महत्वपूर्ण योगदान रहा।
