बोकारो के प्रवासी मजदूर की सऊदी में सड़क हादसे में मौत, शव स्वदेश लाने की मांग

Gomia- प्रवासी मजदूरों की विदेशों में मौत की घटनाएं लगातार सामने आ रही हैं। ताजा मामला बोकारो जिले के चतरोचट्टी थाना क्षेत्र के कतवारी गांव का है, जहां स्वर्गीय सुखदेव महतो के 41 वर्षीय पुत्र सत्येंद्र महतो की सऊदी अरब में सड़क दुर्घटना में मौत हो गई। यह हादसा 25 जून 2026 की रात हुआ।
मौत की सूचना मिलते ही परिवार में मातम छा गया। परिजनों का रो-रोकर बुरा हाल है, जबकि पूरे गांव में शोक का माहौल है। सत्येंद्र महतो 26 नवंबर 2024 को रोजगार की तलाश में सऊदी अरब गए थे, जहां वे हमद सालेह अल-काफ कॉन्ट्रैक्टिंग एस्टैब्लिशमेंट में ट्रक चालक के रूप में कार्यरत थे।
सत्येंद्र अपने पीछे पुत्री प्रीति कुमारी (21), पुत्र अरविंद कुमार तथा 13 वर्षीय पुत्र मंगेश कुमार सहित पूरे परिवार को छोड़ गए हैं। परिजनों ने भारत सरकार और झारखंड सरकार से अपील की है कि उनके पार्थिव शरीर को जल्द से जल्द भारत लाने की व्यवस्था की जाए, ताकि उनका अंतिम संस्कार पैतृक गांव में किया जा सके।
घटना की जानकारी मिलने पर प्रवासी मजदूरों के हित में कार्य करने वाले समाजसेवी सिकंदर अली पीड़ित परिवार से मिलने पहुंचे। उन्होंने शोक संतप्त परिवार को ढांढस बंधाते हुए कहा कि रोजगार की तलाश में विदेश जाने वाले झारखंड के मजदूर लगातार हादसों और कठिन परिस्थितियों का शिकार हो रहे हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि इससे पहले भी कई प्रवासी मजदूरों की विदेशों में मौत हो चुकी है और कई अब भी विभिन्न देशों में फंसे हुए हैं।
सिकंदर अली ने कहा कि झारखंड के बोकारो, गिरिडीह और हजारीबाग जिलों से बड़ी संख्या में लोग रोजगार के लिए पलायन करते हैं। उन्होंने सरकार से मांग की कि राज्य में रोजगार के पर्याप्त अवसर उपलब्ध कराए जाएं, ताकि मजबूरी में लोगों को विदेश या दूसरे राज्यों में पलायन न करना पड़े और ऐसी दुखद घटनाओं पर रोक लग सकता है।
