A woman’s body was discovered inside the water tank at Gautam Buddha University, Greater Noida.

A tragic incident took place at Gautham Buddha University, Greater Noida a woman’s body was discovered on May 6, April in a water tank at the staff quarters building at Gautam Buddha University in Greater Noida, and chaos broke out on campus. The woman lived there with her husband and mother-in-law and the woman’s husband worked at the nearby JIMS hospital according to the preliminary investigations. Police have recovered the body of a woman from inside the cemented water tank and has been sent for an autopsy. According to the police, the victim’s mother-in-law and her husband, who have been missing since Monday morning, may have been involved.

According to the neighbours, the woman named Kaushal 32-year-old, and her husband Kapil 33-year-old who is the prime suspect of the murder of her wife, the couple would often quarrel. There was a quarrel on Sunday night too, and police suspect that it ended with the woman’s murder it’s possible that the man was drunk at the time. Police suspect that the woman was murdered after the altercation. The police are now looking for her husband and mother-in-law.

The woman’s relatives have filed a complaint and the case has been registered.  Shivhari Meena, Joint Commissioner of Police, stated that authorities were notified on Monday about the body found in the cemented water tank in the staff quarters. “We have established a team to find and apprehend the man and his mother after speaking with their neighbours. We’re looking at every possibility,” he added.  High-ranking police officials arrived at the scene and removed the woman’s body shortly after word got out that a woman’s dead body had been discovered in the cement water tank. While the inquiry is still ongoing, the university remains on high alert.
