DSPMU के दूसरे लोकपाल बने डॉ. अनिल कुमार, ‘झारखंड में मुंडा का आर्थिक इतिहास’ पर किताब भी लिख चुके हैं

रांची : डॉ. श्यामा प्रसाद मुखर्जी विश्वविद्यालय ने डॉ. अनिल कुमार को पिछले 7 दिसंबर को लोकपाल नियुक्त किया है. श्री कुमार 31 दिसंबर 2022 को डीएसपीएमयू के छात्र कल्याण संकायाध्यक्ष (डीन) के पद से सेवानिवृत्त हुए थे. इनकी नियुक्ति तीन वर्ष या 70 वर्ष उम्र पूरी होने तक रहेगी.

लोकपाल पर छात्रों की शिकायतों को निबटाने  की जिम्मेवारी

लोकपाल छात्रों की शिकायत को सुनने और उनका समाधान निकलने का काम करता है। सितंबर 2023 में यूनिवर्सिटी ग्रांट्स कमिश्नर ने सभी विश्वविद्यालय को अपने यहां लोकपाल की नियुक्ति करने का आदेश दिया था। इस पद पर पूर्व कुलपति या सेवानिवृत वैसे प्रोफेसर जिन्हें 10 साल का कार्य अनुभव हो तथा जो डीन के रूप में भी काम कर चुके हों, वही बनाए जा सकते हैं।

डॉ. श्यामा प्रसाद मुखर्जी विश्वविद्यालय के प्रथम लोकपाल डॉक्टर अंजनी कुमार श्रीवास्तव, पूर्व कुलपति जो, उच्च शिक्षा निदेशक, झारखंड सरकार भी रह चुके थे, बनाए गए थे। डॉ अनिल कुमार, डॉ श्यामा प्रसाद मुखर्जी विश्वविद्यालय के दूसरे लोकपाल हैं।

डॉ अनिल कुमार का संक्षिप्त इतिहास

डॉ अनिल कुमार झारखंड का एक जाना-पहचाना नाम है. श्री कुमार एक सुलझे हुए शिक्षक रहें और छात्रों की शिकायतों के प्रति सदा गंभीरता दिखाई है. श्री कुमार की प्रारंभिक शिक्षा नेतरहाट आवासीय विद्यालय से हुई।

रांची कॉलेज से बीए ऑनर्स, रांची विश्वविद्यालय से एम.ए. और एल-एल.बी. करने के बाद इनकी नियुक्ति 17. 03.1983 को मांडर कॉलेज, मांडर में व्याख्याता के पद पर हुई।

इस बीच श्री कुमार ने 12.10.1993 को पी-एच.डी. की उपाधि प्राप्त की। मेरिट के बल पर इन्हें 23.09.1995 को झारखंड पब्लिक सर्विस कमीशन द्वारा एसोसिएट प्रोफेसर तथा 23.09.2003 को विश्वविद्यालय प्रोफेसर के पद पर प्रोन्नति मिली।

इसके बाद 27.03.2008 को श्री कुमार का स्थानांतरण मांडर कॉलेज से रांची कॉलेज (वर्तमान में डॉ. श्यामा प्रसाद मुखर्जी विश्वविद्यालय) में हो गया। ये यहां अपने विभाग के विभागाध्यक्ष, सामाजिक विज्ञान संकाय के संकायाध्यक्ष (डीन) तथा विश्वविद्यालय के छात्र कल्याण संकायाध्यक्ष (डीएसडब्ल्यू) के पद को भी संभाल चुके हैं।

ये डॉ. श्यामा प्रसाद मुखर्जी विश्वविद्यालय के सीनेट सदस्य, विश्वविद्यालय एकेडमिक काउंसिल के सदस्य तथा सामाजिक विज्ञान संकाय, रिसर्च काउंसिल के सदस्य भी रह चुके हैं।

इसके अलावा श्री कुमार 2001 से इंडियन हिस्ट्री कांग्रेस, नई दिल्ली के सदस्य, 2017 से आजीवन अखिल भारतीय इतिहास संकलन योजना, नई दिल्ली के सदस्य तथा झारखंड इतिहास संकलन समिति के संस्थापक महासचिव और वर्तमान में इस समिति के उपाध्यक्ष हैं।

बतौर लेखक डॉ. अनिल की उपलब्धियां

श्री कुमार की बतौर लेखक भी उपलब्धि रही है. इनकी लिखित दो पुस्तकें एक 2002 में “झारखंड में मुंडा का आर्थिक इतिहास” और दूसरा 2013 में “प्राचीन भारत” जो, विदेशी पर्यटकों के वृतांत पर आधारित है, प्रकाशित हो चुकी है। इनके कई रिसर्च पेपर राष्ट्रीय और राज्यस्तरीय जनरल में भी छप चुके हैं। वर्तमान में भी लेखन का कार्य जारी है.
