हजारीबाग, 2 मई 2025 — स्वस्थ जीवनशैली को बढ़ावा देने और पारंपरिक पेय छांछ के लाभों के प्रति जागरूकता फैलाने के उद्देश्य से पीजी सीएनडी और माइक्रोबायोलॉजिस्ट सोसाइटी ऑफ इंडिया (झारखंड यूनिट) ने संयुक्त रूप से हजारीबाग जिले के इचाक प्रखंड स्थित कुसुम सुकरी गांव में एक जागरूकता कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया।
कार्यक्रम के तहत पीजी सीएनडी के सेमेस्टर 2 के छात्रों ने गांव के लोगों के बीच नुक्कड़ नाटक के माध्यम से छांछ के नियमित सेवन से होने वाले स्वास्थ्य लाभों को रेखांकित किया। उन्होंने बताया कि कोल्डड्रिंक्स जैसी कृत्रिम शीतल पेयों के बजाय छांछ का उपयोग गर्मी में शरीर को ठंडा रखने और पाचन सुधारने के लिए अधिक फायदेमंद होता है।
इस अभियान में छात्रों ने गांव के विभिन्न समूहों से मिलकर उनके खानपान और स्वास्थ्य संबंधी आदतों को समझा और उनमें सुधार के उपायों पर संवाद किया। खास तौर पर हर आयु वर्ग के लिए उचित पोषण, स्वच्छता, एनीमिया की रोकथाम, डेंटल कैरीज, महिलाओं में मेनोपॉज, और मासिक धर्म के दौरान देखभाल जैसे विषयों पर व्यावहारिक सुझाव दिए गए।
कार्यक्रम में यह भी समझाया गया कि शिशु के लिए मां का दूध सर्वोत्तम आहार होता है और गर्भवती महिलाओं को पोषणयुक्त आहार जैसे हरी पत्तेदार सब्जियां, फल, दूध, अंडे, मांस और मछली लेना चाहिए। इसके साथ ही किशोरियों के आहार में आयरन, विटामिन सी और प्रोटीन युक्त भोजन शामिल करने की आवश्यकता को रेखांकित किया गया ताकि वे एनीमिया जैसी समस्याओं से बच सकें।
छात्रों ने यह भी कहा कि बच्चों को जंक फूड से बचते हुए स्वस्थ और पोषक भोजन को प्राथमिकता देनी चाहिए। मासिक धर्म के समय महिलाओं को अपने खान-पान और व्यक्तिगत स्वच्छता पर विशेष ध्यान देना चाहिए।
इस सार्थक कार्यक्रम के सफल आयोजन में विभाग के निदेशक डॉ. मनोज कुमार, शिक्षिकाएं जया सिन्हा एवं सुषमा कुमारी, और शिक्षकेत्तर कर्मचारी बेबी हेना एवं राजीव भेगरा का विशेष योगदान रहा।
